Don't you have to prequalify from 3rd or 4th?Eh, worst case scenario we drop to 3rd or 4th, still get CL, still get in the papers. I only care about the EL final at this point.

Sure. That’s me. Season ticket holder who lives in Stretford.
This was immediately after the paragraph I posted...Given the scale it was obvious this was gonna called off but at least it sort of makes sense.
Thankfully, unlike you the players want to win and I don’t think they would appreciate some nobody fan sabotaging their season so they can feel good about ousting our parasitic owners. We’re not trying to punish the players, are we? Wasn’t that an underlying sentiment of this thread? You’re bang on mate. Our chances of winning it are slim at very best, And if we aren’t going to win it, what’s the point? Financial. That’s it. Im willing to sacrifice a season of exciting European midweek games to get these tramps out the club.
Here’s a lesson: protest in a way that doesn’t get games postponed.
We have no right to complain about the fixture congestion after the uncivilised chaotic manner of the protest. The FA don’t owe us shit and rightly so.

Why are people who have the cheek not to live in Manchester being singled out like this?Already seeing the narrative on here changing very quickly from support on Sunday to some kind of bizarre 'blame'.
Words like hooligans and hundreds of idiots being used now. Attacking police blah blah.
Just completely made up lies from people hundreds of miles away.
You can find the contrary to your assertions in the first few posts in this thread. How many people who support the protest are complaining about the fixture change?
Seems to me that its the people who moaned about the protest who are moaning about this as well. 99% of those behind the protests knew the consequences and we perfectly on board with them.
Yeah I saw it. Rocket! This was immediately after the paragraph I posted...
One fan scored an overhead kick into the net in front of the Stretford End.
Did anyone see a clip of this?
Well, your response when I mentioned getting in the rough with a bobby or two indicated that you found satisfaction in all the action on Sunday. My reply was based partly on that, partly on general frustration over those who support the protest, accept/make no mention of the hooliganism and then go on to act like victims when we get game congestion. To them, not you, own up to your own support! What on earth are you on about? I didn't attack anyone you oddball.
I feel like you lot are seriously missing the point. Finishing 2nd would be huge for Ole, huge for the players and a step in a positive direction for them. Don’t you want the team that you supposedly support and it’s current roster of players to feel good about all they’ve achieved this season and carry it in to next season?Yeah they are cowards. Does it matter in grand scheme of things how far behind City we finish? The gap is huge. CL football could be clinched if we lose all our remaining games as the teams outside top 4 have to win all their games.
And we'd have the Europa final as a get out of jail clause too let's not forget.
And it's not like we are going to win the CL anyway is it? Let's be honest with ourselves. We want it for financial reasons. Not for aspirations of winning it.

Give your head a wobble.Be interesting to see opinions on the protestors when we inevitably feck up the final due to injuries and fatigue.
Mindbogglingly stupid and people were actually defending them.
For a protest that's supposedly about 'giving a voice to fans', it's amazing how dismissive and abusive some are to those disagreeing with the violent aspect of the 'peaceful' protest.
"Cowards" and "soft twats" are just two of the descriptions on here so far - and it's similar on all the other threads about it. It's not exactly 'respecting the views of fans', is it? 'Fans' are a bunch of individuals with many different views - yet some of the protesters seem to adopt the Orwellian attitude of 'all fans are equal, but some are more equal than others' in their dismissive attitudes towards any opposing views.
They don't care about trophies, it's all about giving the club back to its fans!Be interesting to see opinions on the protestors when we inevitably feck up the final due to injuries and fatigue.

I think many need to re -evaluate the rubbish they are spewing here.

I’d take a loss to Leicester if it means a win against Liverpool.Well I'd love 2 points from Leicester and Liverpool games now, assuming we beat Villa. Even 1 wouldn't be bad. At least there's space between Liverpool and Fulham games and after Fulham until Wolves.
Time to give proper chance to van de Beek, Telles and others.
Can you teach me how to be a better keyboard warrior please? Just so I fit in more with some of the othersThinking like this is so ‘soft twatish.’
Gotta be hard behind the keyboards.
What a ridiculous comparison.Remember those Qanon/MAGA geniouses who thought they could get in the White House, steal some documents, knock a police officer and go home unpunished? We've got ourselves a light version right here.
Yeah, you could. This sentiment definitely isn’t just on one side. Can I? Admittedly, I have around a hundred people on ignore after one particularly stupid Ole bashing thread a while back but from what I've seen there aren't too many.
They will probably take out another loan to cover itThe reasons the game was abandoned apparently weren’t solely because of what happened outside the stadium.
In the Athletic article, there was mention of turf issues, a crossbar on one of the goals damaged, & balls stolen among other issues.
We were winning more trophies before the glazers, and we had no debt. Being owned by the glazers has cost United an estimated £1.5 billion. They bought the club with a loan & attached the debt to the club. They have put £0 of their own money in while taking millions of pounds out of the club in dividends out every year. No other premier league club pays dividends to their owner. They don't care about trophies, it's all about giving the club back to its fans!
League One or League Two? It doesn't matter, green and gold till the club is sold!
I’m a soft twat too, it seems, especially after reading some of the posts in here. Can you teach me how to be a better keyboard warrior please? Just so I fit in more with some of the others
