These commentators talking shit about BJ quitting without knowing why. Saying he quit because he sensed momentum changing is ridculous.
Saunders was well in it.

Kinda looked like he quit when it got tough in there to be honest but if his eye is that bad I can understand them pulling him out, kinda looked like he didn't fancy it there.

Every close-up they’ve shown he can’t even open the eye and they’re going on about him quitting too soon

The juice still running through Canelos veins. How is his power going up the weight divisions with him...

Shit got real when Canelo started riling up the crowd.

Just put a hand over one of your eyes and then you'll realise why he had to throw in the towel with 4 rounds remaining.

That uppercut was vicious. Canelo threw his whole body into that.

Billy joe always impresses me. That was a good fight. I had canelo winning but can see why others thought bj was. Canelo just has too much precision and power.

Yeah you can't fight with one eye against almost anyone and definitely not against Canelo. He did well up until the injury, shades of Kell Brook.

Played out a bit like the Khan fight, although I would say that Bill was better and it was more or less level going into the eighth. You could even make a case for putting him ahead.

That power, though, is brutal. You did wonder when it was going to come and sadly it did.

Bill did have his moments though and he made Canelo look silly once or twice.

Unless you knock Canelo out, there’s 0 chance you’re winning on points. GGG fights have shown that

Must be a fun experience for Hearn in the ring in America without all the jeering

I’m sure Canelo’s shots are much harder to score against from ringside vs on a tv screen

Yeah he only got a draw which says it all, the only time that the judges have really gone against him in his career would be his only ever defeat to Mayweather

Even then one judge scored it a draw

Broken orbital bone for Saunders, could be a career ender or big blow at least.

Exactly, at that time Mayweather was the biggest boxing star.

Commentators, especially Froch really annoyed me at the end there. Trying to suggest BJS quit and took the easy way out. These are pros and can clearly see how bad his eye is, what do they want him to go out and get pummelled so he can’t fight again?

Only have to look at what happened to Kell Brook

Didnt a judge give that fight to Canelo as well?
