He did a bang average job so not really arsed.@DixieDean must be relieved.
He seems a nice fella, though. so good luck to him.
I hope the next guy actually coaches and improves the players rather than thinking £ is the answer to everything.

Haha, yeah who in their right mind would ever hire an Everton manager? What's with Barca and Madrid hiring Everton managers?
Maybe they just don’t have the cash to transition this summer and want to steady the ship for now. In that context it’s a solid if unexciting appointment. Would you take 6-12 months at Madrid vs a job for the next few years with a big budget at Everton? It’s a bit of a strange choice from Carlo seeing as he’s already been there done that…They didn't really have many options, Conte is too confrontational and Allegri didn't want to wait for them.
Getting Ancelotti from Everton is easy but going back to him doesn't make much sense for a team in transition.

Why not go for Conte?Who would your top 3 be mate?
I think I would have Poch / Potter / Howe. I realise that Poch isn't gonna happen but that would be a dream signing.
The latter is risky and the former is not likely at all but they all share a similar ethos on football which I hope we move forward with in the future. Any other manager in that ilk would be good for me.

Conte would be great as he gets results but he has a bad attitude and fecks off after 2 seasons. We need somone that if all things go smoothly wants to build something seriously with us.Why not go for Conte?
You owners lured Ancelotti and Conte seems to be flavour of the month just now. Id like to see yous do well tbh and it would be great if Everton were the top sode in Liverpool next season
Moyes -> UnitedWhat's with Barca and Madrid hiring Everton managers?
Conte would be a risk for RM. They've had a manager in the same mould like Capello before, and he was sacked after 1 year despite winning the league. Twice. Why not go for Conte?

I agree on Poch, if only he was available.Who would your top 3 be mate?

Maybe a sign that Real are going to squeeze another season or two out of the current squad and just slowly rebuild over time, rather than expensively reassemble a whole new team quickly?
Not an awful strategy to be honest. With Barca hamstrung and Atleti decent but hardly awe-inspiring, they're in with a shout of winning the league every year. If it means they have little chance of winning in Europe for a couple of seasons, well, they've still won it more than anyone else in the last few years. They can go a season or two without being real contenders.
Ancelotti has shown he can get a tune of a set of players without the need to buckets of cash and won't generally kick off if he doesn't get the players he wants. Probably a decent appointment in that respect.
Would you take Conte if he is up for it?I agree on Poch, if only he was available.
I think I would take a gamble on Potter. And if he's good, he'll be someone who'll stick around in the long term.
Howe is a good manager, I think he’d be a great fit thereThat is a really depressing tweet for Everton fans.
He had tremendous backing to get them up, spent very badly in the top division, never learned to defend, seemed to purposely tank the cups every year and has never had another top job anywhere else to compare the experience to.Howe is a good manager, I think he’d be a great fit there

I'd rather drive a Ferrari for a short time, and not drive for a whole year Vs driving a Kia for a year. That trademark engine sound alone is worth itYou should, a Ferrari is a lot more expensive to maitain between gas and insurance. Also you better hope that nothing happens to it in terms of engine or body work. Keep your Kia or sell the Ferrari and purchase a nice Kia.
Oh hell, yeah! I can't see that happening, though.Would you take Conte if he is up for it?

Well we should be focused on our own business thats true, but competition counts. As if Lewandowski, Messi, etc start coming to our rivals it does matter I mean theres nothing as a team we can do about it but of course it makes the competition harder for us.Ok, I may have got it wrong, but that's how I read it.
Other teams getting managers in shouldn't really matter or be too much of a concern to us. Why should it matter?
I think that’s a harsh appraisal of the job he did at Bournemouth. There was decent backing in the rise up the leagues but it was still a hell of an achievement, there’s plenty of clubs who spent more during the climb, and taking a club from league 2 to the premier league, is a really incredible achievement that is often overlooked. He had tremendous backing to get them up, spent very badly in the top division, never learned to defend, seemed to purposely tank the cups every year and has never had another top job anywhere else to compare the experience to.
I think it would be a really risky appointment and I would be nervous as an Everton fan. Getting smashed by the big teams consistently wouldn’t fly there.
