Tag me when it gets to Harms I've got his pick.
Because it’s pretty much just his time at Ajax at the end of his career that falls inside this time frame I think. Why does Rijkaard go so late? Am I missing something
Which was still very good right? And since it's from 92, the last season at Milan also should count?Because it’s pretty much just his time at Ajax at the end of his career that falls inside this time frame I think.
Surely you shouldn't be getting involved and naming unpicked players?Which was still very good right? And since it's from 92, the last season at Milan also should count?
Rijkaard is already picked mateSurely you shouldn't be getting involved and naming unpicked players?
Apologies.Rijkaard is already picked mate
Probably. I didn’t really cross reference the dates and what’s eligible, just why he was probably put off for a while. Don’t think he’s ever really a bad pickWhich was still very good right? And since it's from 92, the last season at Milan also should count?
It technically not his "peak" but arguably quite close to not make a difference at all. I was debating between him and Kohler and gambled he's last back to me.Why does Rijkaard go so late? Am I missing something
Ain't got the next ones. Next one I have is Michael's.
Well aye. Generally he no longer played as the Milan box-to-box midfielder at Ajax, but in a deeper role splitting his time between defence and the base of midfield. But still very classy. And influential too:Which was still very good right? And since it's from 92, the last season at Milan also should count?
I don't question his quality but I am not sure how well his Ajax version dovetails with Pirlo. Would be interesting to see how you deploy him.Well aye. Generally he no longer played as the Milan box-to-box midfielder at Ajax, but in a deeper role splitting his time between defence and the base of midfield. But still very classy. And influential too:
- 1 season at Milan - 92/93 Serie A winners and finalists in the CL
- 1992 Serie A footballer of the year
- Ajax - became best team in Europe with that incredible 94/95 campaign winning league and CL
- 94/95 ESM Team of the Year
Then he retires at just 32. Apart from Cantona I can't think of anyone who has called it quits so close to their peak at the very top, is there anyone else? Zidane obviously retired at a World Cup Final, on the back of a great tournament, which tops Rijkaard's CL final, but was 34 and had dropped off at club level quite a bit from his peak.
That is disappointing to hear. I can't tell you why without pissing off @TheReligion@antohan bergkamp was the guy.
