Where? Name me some realistic clubs? There arent any. Even with a paycut he'd still be on 250k from his 350k a week wages. There are no clubs in europe who can afford those wages even with a paycut who need a no1 keeper.

Psg - donnaruma
Atletico - oblek
Madrid- courtios
Barcelona - ten stegen
Milan - Mignolet
Inter - handonovic
Juventus - szczency
Bayern - neuer

Theres literally nowhere for de gea to go. Henderson on the other hand could be sold to clubs below that tier.
for the record, de Gea isn’t on £350k/week.

I've seen Inter being linked to some keepers, doubt DDG would lower his wages enough to suit their structure.

Saint-Etienne - Nice - Marseille : check ! Bordeaux-Rennes and PSG to go for a complete Tour de France. Absolute masterclass.
And here i was thinking he dodged the Olympics to have a pre-season with us to fight for a place...

And if there was a similar talent that was British he'd choose him over varane
Ridiculous.

So England finally have a crop of world class players coming through, who United are linked with and this is used to bash ole because he “only likes British players” - lord give me strength.

Varane? Camavinga? Haaland?

Regardless. If they’re world class or can improve the team i don’t care where they are from! I’d take a team full of English players if they’d help us challenge for the league same as if the team was full of foreign players

What a strange negative to have against Ole?!

That doesn't make sense at all? Going from De Gea/Romero to Henderson/Heaton is just criminal.
I was thinking the same myself.

I don't recall Romero having a bad game for UTD, sure he was mostly used against lesser teams but he often made one great save after another. Hendo & Heaton doesn't fill me with as much confidence as De Gea & Romero.

Heaton played like prime Buffon whenever he played against United, I’m more than comfortable with him as a #2 - If he plays like he did when United played against him that is

Well, if there was a British player with the same traits, talent and price with Varane, I assume everyone would prefer him just because it would be easier for him and the team.

Something is going on with Nuno Mendes as they are about to sign Ruben Vinagre from Wolves.

Exciting young player but there's no way we're signing another LB at the moment. Definitely City bound.
To be fair it's like Shaw absorbs the powers of his LB rivals. Maybe we just keep buying left backs and he just keeps getting better...

Our manager just wants British players
I think we've abandoned the cultural reboot after the summer of 2019. Below is what Samuel Luckhurst said about it just a few weeks back.

Luckhurst: "United abandoned their proclivity for British players quickly. The last seven recruits have come from Portugal, Nigeria, Holland, Uruguay, and the Ivory Coast, although Jadon Sancho is expected to become United's latest England international and Kieran Trippier has made arrangements to join him at Carrington".

I cannot understand the ones who prefer DDG to Hendo. I really don't.

Command of area, bravery, decision making, mindset, attitude - Dean beats Dave in these abilities.

Dave is a reflex keeper and he is not getting younger anymore. And his attitude is questionable. And his wages.

His penalty miss AND ignoring the notes of Villarreal's penalty takers was enough for me. Don't have any faith in him anymore. None of it.
And he won't come off his freaking line......

What Henderson has on De Gea is he's far more vocal and, like every other keeper on the planet, better at saving penalties.

But, compared to De Gea, Henderson doesn't have much more of a presence, is obviously a worse shot stopper, and most noticeably his handling is shite. The number of routine saves I saw him push back into dangerous areas in his few games for us is alarming to say the least. Both are equally lacking with the ball at their feet as well.

Cant see us buying a LB, unless we move to a three at the back with Shaw as LCB
Or just make Shaw left CB if we can't get a CB. Much better and makes more sense than the idea of making AWB a CB.

Reduction by 50%?

How much money does Messi want now? He probably have made enough for the next twenty generations of Messis
I don’t think the reduction is to fund Messi in fairness.
The players have all been on undeserved insane wages, with the club going bankrupt, the only way to steady the ship is to cut recurrent expenditure.
Even at half the wages, not too many clubs would offer that much for a player past his best.
Messi’s new contract would most likely see it being halved as well.

After the season Luke Shaw had he's nailed on to be our starting LB and one of the first names on the teamsheet. We'd be massively wasting his talent playing him at CB.

Can't spell Mkhitaryan
Why would you think that?
It doesn't make sense.

We have the best LB in the league last year and a decent backup in Telles.

There would be zero point in spending money on a LB when other positions need filling.

It's a lazy link and probably a lazy way to try and get more cash from wherever he ends up.
