Florentino Perez leaked comments

Last tweets:

"I wanted to sell Roberto Carlos to Chelsea, who really wanted to sign him, I would've sold him to them in exchange for Carvalho, and then I would've signed Zambrotta for like 2 euros, and we would've been set."
"Casillas isn't tall, and he can't even see well. I told Gines to take him to the optician, because he can't see. They shoot from outside the box, from corners... I swear I said it, I'm not lying."
"I would sign Buffon, from Juventus, because Casillas isn't a goalkeeper for Real Madrid."
"Raul has problems at home. And if you have problems at home, then get divorced, or separated or something."
"Raul is traumatized by women. His first girlfriend left him, he was with her for a long time. He's bitter."

I love how half of these quotes coming out read like caf shitposts.

Sometimes you have to wonder if some of the trolls on here are just employees or managers of a club to blow off some steam

Tbf, this would be classed as peak muppetry on the Caf. The idea of selling Carlos to Chelsea in 2005/2006'ish as a direct swap for a peak Cavalho then picking up Zambrotta for €2 would be rightly seen as complete nonsense.

As for the quotes about players private lives that appears more like peak Perez Hilton trollling.

It's so laughable to know what he thought about Del Bosque, when Del Bosque had a better run without Perez than Perez without him.
Did he? It's pretty even imo, or is it that common that a president wins 4 Champions Leagues without one of his very supposedly successful coaches?

Madrid turned a profit and reduced their debt, while building a new stadium, right?

Wonder what he has to say about Carlos Queiroz, José Antonio Camachom Mariano García Remón, Vanderlei Luxemburgo (managers since Del Bosque left in 2003.)

In the preview of today's audios he talks about Guti "Guti is subnormal, the worst enemy of himself"
I don't think he will say anything about Ferguson, since his problem was with Calderón.
I would like to hear his opinion about Kaka and about Calderón, although seeing the different interviews he has given to el Confidencial, I would not be surprised if he knew about the publication in advance.

how is that legal? sounds like blackmail

How did Real Madrid Net Debt go from 240M to €46M in one season, in the season where football has lost money?

Have they been bailed out by the council? Have they fiddled the books? Is Perez lying or misrepresenting? Is it the reason why they never officially left the ESL?
Gotta be a reality TV deal...Perez teasing it with old quotes at the mo. They'll change their name to Reality Madrid to promote it.

I agree. I'm not sure how it isn't considered blackmail.

It could also just be Perez calling a couple of his friends in the media to retaliate against the said journalist, I wouldn't pay too much attention to this allegation at this point unless it goes to court.

Fair enough, and I suppose that could be true. Interesting turn of events, in any case. Some eyebrow-raising quotes that might alienate some of the people mentioned.

Their financial statement and accounts. If any accountants can help figure it out. From the summary, i skimmed through, they’re not signings players and everyone taking a 10% payout helped them stay in profit during COVID, but does it add up to them paying off 200m loan.

Also there seems to be new loans that they’ve taken on, possibly consolidation loans not added to this years figures so they appear to be less in debt.

The extended version of the audio about Ozil is absolutely surreal yet too detailed not to be true. The bit about Mourinho saying to him: “can I talk to you like a father?” before dropping the bomb had me in stitches.
These leaks keep on giving entertainment. In other clubs, it might doom the president/ceo, but it might just strengthen his hand over there. Madrid fans don’t care too much.

This shit is fecking gold. It’s surely going to make some players think twice about going there. Who wants to be courted by this clown? I’m waiting for some of those named to start firing back and even more dirt to come out.

Full set of quotes which were said in 2012 by Perez but released now. Amazing

He's a legend for this comments alone.

He is basically Madrid's Uli Hoeneß.

Such selective leaks means there is a propaganda against Perez. I mean there could be many private conversations by everybody which could be used to sabotage, influence future proceedings if necessary. It's dangerous.

And then, these are the top 10% of society, they are always going to talk big, egoist, and not be silent.

Yes, that is pretty apparent. I don't even want to know what kind of quotes other big club presidents may have said in 'private'.

Well, on the other hand.. For entertainment purposes, i probably would like to know either way.

All these leaks bad mouthing a lot of legends and people from our club and yet nothing for Barca, Atletico, etc.

Now jokes aside, the worst part to me about all these leaks is how nonchalant and arrogant he sounds about putting people in specific positions in the media, too obviously manipulate information. If only this could open the eyes of many.

Moreover, the fact that he uses the club’s name to do shady business for the benefit of his company with politicians from other countries in clear cases of corruption, as the one that is happening in my country is something I cannot help but despise. Sure, I may be slightly biased on this topic.

No, it is definitely not as common, and I am not denying that they are certainly even now. But the point I was trying to make was that for some supposedly fraud like Del Bosque, he surely brought in a lot of success for Perez that no one else did on his first run as president, and years later went and became a World cup and Euro winner on his own. He undoubtedly did great while Florentino had to wait for something uncommon like 3 CL in a row to happen later on.

I do care, some of us truly do and have been critics of him for a long time. But sadly, he amended the club’s statutes to entrench himself in power and controls a big chunk of the media that have been indoctrinating our fanbase throughout the years into thinking he’s the one and only option for us. Like you said, in other clubs it might doom the president but doesn’t seem the case here as of yet.

This shithead was "re-elected" this year in a campaign that might as well have not even existed.

I have the biggest smile on my face when I see this thread bumped, and I haven't been disappointed yet by every tweet that comes out. This is great.

Can we consolidate the Florentino Perez leaks into one thread? This is hilarious.

Yeah, this stuff has been a riot. I think plenty of people who otherwise wouldn't be so interested in general Real/Barca chat will get a big kick out of them as well.

Any chance of the Perez quotes being moved to their own thread, @Carolina Red?

Perez really hates Raul and Casillas

When Mou started his personal war against Casillas, Floren fully supported the manager; that much is clear now. When Ancelotti benched him as well, Floren smiled in the shadows.

Reality Madrid sounds like a great show thanks to these leaks, if they aren’t doing it already they should now!

El Besugo
