Nuno could put together quite a decent side, basically what Mourinho was supposed to do but somehow failed to.

If Romero is as good in the Prem as he was in Serie A and they get a decent partner for him. Kane, Alli, Hojberg, Romero... pretty solid spine.
Nuno is miles better than Mourinho to be honest, I don’t think he can do much worse. I still don’t have huge expectations from them because they lack the real quality and they will drop silly points over the season but I expect they will be much improved from last season. People don’t realise how bad Mourinho is.

Spurs simply want this more. They are winning every second ball. City have been a shower. Failed to compete.

Grealish is used to be worshipped at Villa. I wonder how he will be as one of many at City. A classic football philosophy question there.

City have spent too long on working out their tactics to break FFP than they have playing football it seems.

The refs have been so much better this weekend! Long may it continue. I’d go as far as saying it pretty much ruined 90% of the games last season.

Moura is some player when on form. Man can dribble across the whole pitch without batting an eyelid.

That'll be the last we see of Mendy this season

And Ake. It's fine though they only cost £100m between them.

Neville: "They need a striker"

Crazy how City's insane spending is normalized.
Exactly. Maybe don’t sign another attacking mid for 100 million, to go along with your five or so other attacking mids, and sign a striker instead if you need a striker.

Reckon it'll come out in a few years that multiple media people are on the Abu Dhabi payroll like Mancini was, paid in country via a shell company.

Can’t help thinking that Spurs will be the new Wolves for us. We will probably get a maximum of two points against them.
