You'd have to laugh, after United having such a good window, if Chelsea and City both end up with former United players that will score a lot of goals.

Would be sickening seeing him at City.
Sickening? It would be far worse than sickening. I was sickened seeing Tevez go there. A player I didn't particularly care for. If Ronnie went there it would be soul destroying.

I'm hoping he doesn't tarnish his legacy like that.

I don’t think Ronaldo has ever really given much of a shit about United. His loyalty was to Fergie. If he goes to City he destroys his legend at United, but sadly it’s our fans who will care much more about that than Ronaldo himself.

City don't want him. It's likely no one really wants him as much as his entourage thinks.

Sadly, with a longish contract, he'd probably get in the way of the future, and one cannot block the future.

City would take Ronaldo in a heart beat is my opinion. It just makes sense.

He fills the gap Aguero has left, he raises the profile of the club and they get one over United, their local rivals.

If this does happen then its unforgivable for Ronaldo in my opinion, I'll be firmly on the Messi is the GOAT train

Those who are saying he'd never join City are in denial about how attractive of a club they are to join for a player. Think there were many here saying that Grealish would never go to City due to his loyalty and ambition to play for a "proper club" or some bollocks like that.

He would score a lot for them. He would essentially be like Kane in their system, but better.
You're selling Kane short here.

The tiniest upside (though in no way balancing it out) would be the meltdowns from the Ronaldo worshippers who over the years have convinced themselves that he loves United and post exceedingly cringeworthy stuff about him all the time.
I was apathetic to this rumour before, but now I want this to happen just to see all the 'SIUUU' posts in his thread whenever he scores for City

He doesn’t give two hoots, United fans need to wake up to that fact. He wants to win and the only thing he fears is becoming irrelevant.

Because it doesn't show on Google?
And because it's clearly made up nonsense. The same guy claimed to have watched every single Juventus game over the past three seasons. I think he's unreliable at best.

I'd like to see us offer Cavani in a swap deal to Juventus. He would be tearing up the Serie A too and would have much lower wages.

If Ronaldo joins City that's unforgivable

Could he not have watched every game? I've missed only 3 or 4 in that time.

You're probably right but still, I don't think looking on Google was the way to disprove him.

So despite the many many MANY positive things Ronaldo has said about United since leaving, it’s taken a link to City for MANY United fans taking a dump on Ronaldo. Claiming that he doesn’t infact like United & it’s all for show.

United fans man.
He doesn't care about utd but some people think he does.
As soon as he became recognized as one of the best he wanted to feck off to Madrid.
He even compared himself as a slave while being one of the most paid footballers
But hey some people love to suck a cock no matter how dirty it is.

Where else would you search? Or should he scour every Juventus forum? Also, you've only missed three or four of all of Juventus' (a team I presume isn't your first team) matches in the last three years? Fair play, you've got more spare time than I have!

He gave all his best years to Madrid. Had a movie made and included 30 seconds of his United time (out of 6 fecking amazing years) in it.

Also compared himself to a slave at Utd. Do people really think he cares about Utd?

feck that. Ronaldo doesn’t want to be here, Cavani does.

Can’t see Pep taking him to be honest - I don’t think he’d want the Ronaldo circus and the me me me attitude goes against everything Pep is about……His agent might be touting him around but reckon city happy to use this to try and smoke out a Kane deal from Levy…..plenty more twists and turns in this transfer window yet!

Shite, I mean United games :D I do watch every single game that is televised though...drives the wife nuts!

As for checking his statement for validity, I wouldn't bother if I couldn't check it against a reliable source.

Smoke and mirrors at play between City and Levy probably.

However, if Ronaldo to city actually happens, then his standing at Utd is pretty much finished.

Moreso because it's a completely fecking ludicrous opinion that one of the best footballers in the history of the game has "awful build up play". Especially going off last season, his performances for Portugal and...literally every single game which he has played in in the past 15 seasons, all of which supply more than enough evidence that holding that opinion is positively dense to put it mildly.

You're probably right but still, I don't think looking on Google was the way to disprove him.
The rest of his statement was self-refuting.

That would be such a stupid thing to do. I can’t see it happen.

I have no doubt that Ronaldo would be prepared to join City. Not sure whether City would be interested though. Think they want someone younger. If they can't get Kane they'll probably switch their attentions to Haaland again next season.

Why the feck would we give away Cavani? Send ‘em Jesse, Matic and Phil Jones!
You people are weird!

Doesn't matter at this point in his career where he ends up. Wish him the best of luck, but we'll go for someone with more years left in the tank.
