Imagine the scenes when we unveil him at Old Trafford after the international break?

About time someone knock some sense into those controlling the transfer dealings at the club, sign him up he's better than Both Cavani and Marital. Plus we are stopping a main rival from signing him, we can fix midfield in January...

Red Card for Casemiro!
Very objectively - he's not the type of CF we need, and he'll be on a deal that prevents us from going for another CF the next two years, by which he'll be 38. If this were the Ronaldo of even two years ago, winning games on his own, it could have worked, but he's regressed massively. We saw what happened when we decided to ego-challenge Man City by beating them to a past-it forward on exorbitant wages.

Subjectively, his first choice was City. That statement itself leads to outrage and it's the end of the discussion. I hope we don't break all the principles we've recently discovered by signing an aging, immobile player who doesn't want to be here. If we still do sign him, I'd pay to see him get booed at Old Trafford. I hope Ole benches him for Cavani and brings him on the 89th minute to hold the ball at the corner flag.

The damage has been done, you self-obsessed fecker.

Stone's tweets have just sent me into a frenzy. This is such an unnecessary transfer in terms of squad building, but...it's Ronaldo.

I can see the excitement given it's fecking Ronnie, but I'm worried he just isn't what we need right now. We desperately need a DM and I'm worried signing him might prevent us from being in for Haaland next year which won't just be a one or two year stop gap like Ronnie is.
We will simply win every game 6-5.

For just 24 hours, in my mind Messi was a better player than Ronaldo. Ronaldo is now the GOAT again.

If he signs and we also get a midfielder then I'll be delighted.

The fact that he might've even been considering City was going to burn some bridges for me but I'll wait til the facts come out.
I hope it was:

  • City enquired and Ronaldo said he'd sign for City.
  • City end their interest in Kane with this news.
  • Ronaldo knew he'd never sign for City and was always intent on going to United.
Viva Ronaldo

Its hard to overstate how much football romanticism is in this particular homecoming.

This is the type of move where I'm more than happy to forget that I'm a responsible adult with my own business, a house, people who depend on me and a woman who has to be seen in public with me occasionally, and absolutely lose my fecking shit in pure joy.

Ronaldo coming home to the Theatre of Dreams to round of his career is what should have happened with Leo at Barca. It's hard to overstate just how much this means to me as a lifelong fan of this club.
Mate I've never agreed with a post as much as this one. I'm ready to lose my shit.

I am so busy right now but this is dominating my life.
