Nothing will come out of this as some people are just too powerful to ever bring down. My guess would be that some ‘low level politicians’ will take the fall and the bigwigs like Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew escape scott free even though everyone knows they are balls deep in this scandal.

I think they’re being pretty shrewd with it too. They’re giving just enough information to hint that a bit of a conspiracy exists - but not the one everyone thinks it is.
The real conspiracy here is not that the CCTV was switched off / broken / lost but that these guards were woefully inexperienced and overworked and should have been relieved before this happened. Instead it lead to gross negligence and a high profile prisoner having the time and means to kill himself.
That seems to be how they’re playing it and in return for “admitting” this, the two stooges get off lightly.

Could someone explain the legal implications for Randy Andy? Will he have to go to court and testify or can he refuse to and if he refuses what are likely consequences for that? Surprised there is not much talk about this development. Surely if he’s found guilty in civil court then he’s fecked, like more fecked than he is already. Everyone already thinks he’s a nonce but if it gets proven in court, it would be a monumental thing, surely?
Considering the wife of a US diplomat (who is nowhere near as "important" as a Royal) literally got away with murder in the UK the chances of Andy stepping foot on American soil is around 0%.

No, the Queen does but he doesn't. Civil cases are not grounds for extradition, though. If it became a criminal case, things could be different but I should imagine hell would freeze over before any extradition happened.

Could it get much worse? His interview a couple of years ago was as disastrous as it gets. A guilty verdict would come as a shock to no-one but the most staunch of monarchy-bummers.
Well yeah if he’s been found to have abused a minor in court then it could get much much worse. At the minute they’re just allegations but they’d hold much more weight if they were judged to have happened in civil court. Though I’m not sure on the burden of proof needed. And I’m sure they’ll probably try to settle out of court to avoid any details going public which have not already been made public. I think it can get much worse. Piers Morgan is already piling on the pressure and he’s a royalist for all intents and purposes. I can only imagine the furore if this was a full blown public trail and the case went against him.
I hope you're right, but I don't expect it to result in anything more than a few days of news coverage and him continuing to shun public life, as he's already been doing. The chances of him going over there to face repercussions is nil.
Yeah it would be good to get to the bottom of this for sure. But you’re right of course — he’s not going over there.
For a civil case typically you just need to show that it's more likely than not that he's guilty whereas for a criminal case it would be "beyond reasonable doubt". So there is quite a large difference in burden of proof.

What Epstein did was unforgivable but what she did was even worst. Those girls trusted her. She's just a despicable excuse of a woman. These were all young girls looking for guidance and they were unfortunate enough to encounter her.

According to the podcast I mentioned (which is by an investigative journalist who followed him and spent time with them), she was obsessed with Epstein. Her dad was an extremely serious and angry guy who was in bed with Mossad, MI5 and the KGB and she liked to please him, presumably to stop him getting angry. When he died and her wealth disappeared with it, she found a new powerful and wealthy figure in Epstein to obsess over pleasing, and was also madly in love with him by the sounds of it.
