can't wait till they're both on the pitch together personally
Me too.

If Rashford can come back with that goalscoring ability then I personally think its something we have missed during the 0-0 first half performances.

Very good today. Think he is slowly getting upto the speed. Some nice footwork and brilliant runs , that were never spotted. He needs players with quick one touch , give and go. Pogba and Martial would do but not Matic .

He will suffer very much this season because of our incessant need to play through the middle against a deep block. I wont blame him much for lack of goals or assists as long as he improves his aggression.

How exactly will that work when his best position is on the left? Its either him or Rashford. Dont bother suggesting he can play on the right because this isnt Germany.

He clearly can play on the right  he obviously won't stick out wide on the touchline he comes inside and moves into the channels.

Why would it be any different?

Good first half and tired in the second. Quick to receive the ball, good in tight spaces and linked up well with Shaw. I have no doubts he will be a star once he gets games under his belt here

Thought he was better today compared to the last match and is growing into the team. Really think his greatest impact for the team ultimately will come from the right with Rashford on the left as his playmaking will really come to the forefront. Greenwood, Cavani, and Lingard to come off the bench when will need a change of pace.

Much better though still not quite up and running. It will take him some time to get acclimated to the league and on the same wavelength with his teammates. Nice to see him cut inside and look to make things happen today. Looking forward to much more to come from him.

He wasn't as bad as some make him to be. Getting used to a different league is going to take a bit to time.

Very good? Yet to see him have a good game. Not even seen him have a good game for England. Looking like going to take a bit of time to come to the pace we play at in the hardest league in the world. He was average at best and that's a compliment.

Decent outing for him. Hopefully he'll keep improving and start chipping in with goals and assists shortly.

He was shit imo. I don't want to be harsh, but honestly I don't remember a single good final pass he made today. His output has been shocking.

Needs a massive improvement or Rashford will take his place when he returns.
Cool it with the hyperbole, jeez.

I will cut him some slack and give the benefit that he just moved to a new country at 21.

His link up play was decent and made plenty of runs in the box. Also had a handball PK denied that was destined for top corner.

Rashford is a better player without a question, he needs to improve to have a chance against Greenwood.

Better than last games, but not looking good for him this season. Mason is just a star boy, lingard is pushing, and rashford will be back soon to claim the spot.

Think he'll end up benched mostly this season.

Still settling in so no problem with the odd poor performance like today. But please can we at least admit that he was poor today.

Wow came into this thread expecting mostly praise and people are still on his back. Some definitely already building an agenda

Thought he had a much improved and good 60 minutes and was threatening down that left side. He is clearly not on the same wave length yet with his team mates but that will come and when it does he is going to be special for us.

He was decent, there was little space in the first half and was just starting to look dangerous when he was subbed.

He will get better with time after he settles in the team, and the team adapts to him and he to the team.

I thought I saw Ronnie pushing him on and directing him to run at defenders. And a lot of times it was the right call. Sancho's going to be really good for us once he settles in and grows in confidence.

Was a decent game for him, unlike the previous appearances, here he tried hard to get into the game which I really liked.

A lot of fans on here are incredibly defensive of new signings. It's embarrassing at times. Same fans who declared Wan Bissaka the best right back in the PL after about 3 games. Turns out he's not even in England's best 4 right backs.

I think Sancho is a very good player who will only get better and better for us but he didn't play well today at all I agree. I don't know what game some were watching tbh. The bias is remarkable. Same performance from Rashford and lot of them would be fuming.

Anyway.....top of the league. Happy days. Sancho's time will come I'm sure.

Yeah am giving him slack by saying needs to get up with the pace in the Premier league. Hopefully it's when not if he comes up to Premier league standards.

Think his close control is brilliant and some nice quick short passes. Just needs to adjust as he wont get the space here he got in Germany. Be interesting when we play the big boys and are mostly on the counter.

More than anything he just looks a little nervy. Hardly unexpected.

Some on here are incredibly aggressive towards new signings. Waiting for them to have a bad game so they can state how abc player is better. Goes both ways. Acting like he was poor is just as bad as acting like he was extremely good. He was ok, showed signs of what he could provide us, especially with his ability to play his way through tight defenses through his linkup play and off the ball awareness. If he did what he usually does and provided a better final ball today, he could have had a few assists. Was way more involved than Mason and less erratic than Bruno, both of whom were clearly working their way into understanding their new teammates.

A bit better performance than truly bad previous ones, but he has the comfort of being surrounded by quality and he has time to adapt. Will come good, great to see him in United shirt every time.

Exactly this. In no way was that a bad performance just as in no way it was a great one.

What it was, was good progress and improvement and clear signs of getting up to speed.

I liked what I saw today. He will offer something we haven't got in the rest of attackers.

Way better than previous games, the dribbling and touch is there. Should have gotten a penalty.

I didn't expect the same immediate impact as City are getting from Grealish as Jadon hasn't been playing in England for the last 7 years or so, however still think he will come good and not be a Bundesliga bully like Kagawa/Mkhi

Let's see his scores out of 10 tomorrow from the Sundays shall we? Doubt anyone gives him above a 6.

He was hooked off first for a reason. He wasn't effecting the game.

Like I said it's early day and he will get better and have impact soon enough I'm sure. Just can't get behind this 'he played well' malarky when he clearly didn't.

Yeah it's nice that the media attention moved onto Varane and Ronaldo. He can take his time and adapt, we have some good options there - Pogba can play, Rashford will be coming back, Lingard's in good form and Greenwood's made the RW his own.
