Yeah that's the worst kind of criticism for it and it shouldn't be taken seriously. I'd happily admit the flawed controls which made the game a mindfeck at times, but in terms of pacing, storytelling, interacting with the gameworld, building character arcs, the amount of quests and activities with tha diversity of characters, and of course the insane technical prowess in terms of graphics and detailing, this is a benchmark against what games for a long time will be compared against. Someone here was saying God of Ringing Bells would be discussed for a long time to come, as good and enjoyable that was, you are gonna be talking about RDR2 for a long time. Again surely it is not 100% perfect (which game is?) but overall it is pretty much a masterpiece and the technical effort that went into detailing out that gameworld is insane. Arthur is pretty much the best character arc created in last gen, with the best acting I've seen in a game.
Yeah, I think that's fair. Although that again depends on you and you can go on a bloodbath in St. Denis and have an army chasing you. But then it would have become insanely tedious if you were to interact with everything as it is while also running out of resources, constantly being attacked etc. They needed to balance that.
