Statistically we improved 4th, 3rd, 2nd. But anyone who thinks we can improve on second this year is insane.

We invested heavily and still haven't figured out a style of play. Our more reliable players are having the worst form of their career.

Chelsea looked just as bad under Lampard. You will be surprised how quickly a competent manager can turn this group of players around. These are pedigree international stars, not Andreas and co.

Issue is even top players look clueless under a manager completely out of his depth, especially against other quality players who are coached by a world class manager.

Going back to the early days of his reign there was a massive underdog mentality instilled in terms of playing deep, on the counter with forward players who pressed the hell out of the opposition and perhaps compensated for their lack of brilliance with tremendous energy and workrate. Forget about the League. He also won the Cup Winners Cup against Real Madrid and beating Bayern on the way to the Final. What has Ole won before he came to United? League in Norway.
