Not changing it the second it became painfully obvious whatever we were trying to do wasn’t working - just like against Liverpool - is fecking criminal.

What was the benefit? What did he think was “working?” What did “just getting to half time not 0-4 down” achieve exactly? Shambolic non-management. Anti-management.
Ole's plan A is painfully mediocre so I'm not surprised that he's incapable of coming up with a plan B/C/D.

You know, it's stupid either way.

Either he stays after yet another embarrassment

or

We sack him just after passing on Conte

The only way it makes sense is if we get a proper manager in, but, bar Zidane, who else is there? Cos we're not getting a manager who's in a job now.

Offer Zidane £20m just to take over for the rest of the year just get rid of this useless joke asap. He'll have us lose against Arsenal at home too.

A half-time sacking. Watch this space

I mean even that won't be as bad as he has made us look. This is so much worse than when Moyes made us look like fooking underdogs. If Ole still stands at OT as a manager after today, then we might as well stop watching United.

The only way to salvage this half is if Ole got sacked at half time.

He has lost the team, it's not about running after the ball, the confidence is shot and mistakes are coming from everywhere. A lot of players will take sometime to recover from this. I'm astonished that anyone at the club thinks that time will help. Time will make it much worse for the players.

I can think of a 100 managers available that would do a better job than Ole. We can't allow to waste another season looking for the "perfect" manager. The board fecked up with Conte, but that doesn't mean we should continue with fecking Ole.

What are the board seeing that giving them confidence in ole? There’s no plan no idea
You answered your own question here. They have no clue what to do after sacking Ole since they inevitably wouldn't have planned for such a scenario (when do they ever?), so they'd rather not sack him as long as they could feasibly get away with.

A hiding, which looks absolutely likely, and he will be gone. Unless Pep decides to show mercy to keep him in the job.
If the bombs drops and most life on earth has been extinguished Ole will crawl out from under his desk and talk to the cockroaches about Utd bouncing back.

Players have no confidence at all. All 5 defenders made some silly mistake in the first half... Ole will not turn a corner this time around. Time to go (even if we get some totally unreal come back in the second half).

Sacking now is the least stupid option, as retrospective as it may look.

Thing is, I can't even look forward to sacking him, because we don't exactly have good choices available for replacement, I was all for Conte before.

Signs Sancho for 80m and VDB for 40m and just sticks them on the bench. He's now even using a formation that Sancho can't even feature in. What is he doing?

Oh, for sure, but we still need a good one because the season is still salvageable. Just being better than Ole isn't enough.

Why does Ole seem so afraid of dropping underperforming players? Maguire, Shaw, even DdG at times should have been dropped. So infuriating.

After this shitshow I am curious to know the justification for having Ole as manager.

What will eventually be done needs to be done now.

Should do the right thing and resign. This is brutal on us supporters.

He's finished, we all know that. He has been for a few weeks. Now the concern is the players get too negative and lose their confidence. He needs to go before that happens, in other words, he needs to go this weekend.

Well, apparently because there is no Klopp/Pep quality manager available, Ole should stay.

Brendan Rodgers can do an adequate job. Favre. You can take a punt on Potter or Frank, I don't care anymore. I'm sick of seeing this team play like relegation candidates. We can change the manager at the end of the season ,no problem, but right now we need Ole out first and foremost.

He's setting the tactics to save his job and not even doing a good job of it. There is no way he believes in this way of football. Doesn't seem to bother the board mind.

No, I hope he is sacked. If he resigns, he will leave with his head held high, which should not be the case after his managerial reign with us.
