I went to have a look, and he was actually pretty bad in his first season for me as well. Second season was good/very good, third season great.

I get so many players who feel they've "outgrown the club" and then have no problem when I transfer them to equal or lower clubs... they seem to just want any transfer at that point.
Got myself a great crop of youngsters. Basically took the latest top 50 NxGn list and scouted them, brought in who I could. A couple of them are gems... part of me wants to move on since I won a title with Fiorentina already, but another part of me wants to stay and see if I could turn them into a CL force. Already 3 seasons in with them after the 1 with Ajax and there's such a big gap between the top PL sides... need this youth to actually be stars.
There's an insane amount of players rated at over £100m now in my game. It is mostly Prem club players.
Even some of the ones they want to loan are obscenely good.
I've only got £30m with Atletico so it won't get me far. I've loaned Gavi for the season though.

It’s mostly based on their contract now I think and what their clubs value them at. Better system than it used to be where the game would just rate them based on how good they are.
AWB signed a new contract for me before and was suddenly valued at 130m
I have messed up too, thought I could rely on a couple of non-contract keepers because they were better than what I had, and they have been a disaster. We concede constantly. 4 losses in opening 8 games and no clean sheets.
I secretly thought I could do back to back promotions with the young players I got in, but I have fecked it.
Plan is to do as well as possible and get first League 2 job I can!
So I'm just about top of La Liga in Jan with some tough games coming up.
Bayern have activated Vlahovic's £168m release clause, so he's gone. He just won the Ballon D'or as well. Arsenal have activated Vidovic's £56m release clause too. So my starting striker and RW.

Won the CL with Newcastle in my third season but can’t get anywhere near winning the league (second place finish but 14 points behind) Liverpool seem to win almost every game.
Would they not accept new contracts?
Depending on how you go about finding players £90m could get you decent replacements.

The money they were asking for was obscene. Most of the long term players there want around 500-600k a week. Unsustainable really.
It can be but also gets you to adapt because your best players can be taken whenever.
I just signed 3 Bilbao highly rated youngsters on a free, not sure why they never signed a pre contract with Bilbao. Bug perhaps.

I win most games I ended up on 90 points and didn’t win the league Liverpool had 100+ but my team is still very young they should improve every year I‘ve focused on hiring the best staff possible and keep going for training/facility upgrades etc.
Liverpool got M’bappe on a free and signed Vlahovic (amazing on this game btw) so their forward line including Salah is unstoppable although I did them on pens on the CL semi!
So after starting an experiment with, which was basically having two elevens and rotating the entire starting eleven during fixture congestion, I have to say it almost works too well. Just beat City 4-1 at the Etihad stadium to become champions on match day 31.
Of course the squad that I have is excellent, so rotating in and out an entire eleven and still being able to beat at least 75% of all other PL teams isn't really practical for 99% of all clubs I guess, but man this has pushed my team to an entirely new level. It also helps that both City and Liverpool have fallen off in the second season, and probably both won't crack the 90 point mark.
But still our league record at the moment is pretty eye watering 30 wins, 1 draw, 0 losses.
Oh yeah added bonus, the Scousers only lost 2 games this season, well both games were against my United side. Winning 5-0 at Old Trafford and 2-1 at Anfield.

Far too early to duck out on my first job, but after two months I was offered both the Oviedo B and Tenerife B jobs. I went with Oviedo B for something completely different and was delighted because I still had access to my old shortlist!
I was able to bring in 3-4 really good young players…only to see the club loan them out and realize I had no way to stop them, being the B team and all.
So I am now stuck playing out the season in Spain with no way to guarantee I can even use the free players I bring in.
I will be resigning at the final whistle in the last game of the season whatever happens. If I have no control over transfers, there is no point.
No idea what to expect next, but I am doing my best to make a mess of my career!

The AI can't help but give low ball offers. Trying to sell Bissouma after 2 good seasons, I signed him for £55m. The highest bid is £21m
Feck. Lost to United in the round of 16. Lost 1-0 at home, was winning 2-0 away until the 86th minute. I didn't realize away goals weren't a thing anymore so it went to extra time. Ended 2-2in extra time so I went out. 10 points clear in the league, knocked out of the cup... season basically over in March. Annoying.
Ah yeah, that's crazy money. It's always nice to see them on half of that at their new clubs

Its gotten even worse as there seems to be a bug that I can’t buy anyone. I can offer the contract, but then the screen stalls and I have to holiday a day to get past the page.Knew what was coming as soon as I saw B team.

Ah fecking hell. Of course I get Liverpool in the CL final. I bet that after beating them twice in the season 5-0 and 2-1 I'll lose the CL final against them, no doubt they will be absolute unbeatable monsters.
Edit: so yeah, all games done, beat Leeds 4-1 in the FA Cup final after a very bad first half from my team the hair dryer and a switch from 4231 to 433 did the trick, and we dominated the second half.
Just the game against Liverpool left, of course I forgot Bruno had got himself banned in the second tie leg against semi final opponents PSG. So yeah, no Bruno for the final, FFS. Here is to hoping that Donny will have the game of his life.
Edit 2: as predicted, Liverpool dominated me from start to finish, albeit in previous game I managed to keep them to almost no shots on goal ever, yet in the CL final they are somehow absolute monsters, was lucky to get into to penalties which I lost to them. De Gea pretty much saved me from losing in regular time by already saving a penalty. Fecking hell, next time I see Liverpool in the CL semi-final I'll just throw my semi-final to get away from the shame of losing another final to them, which will 100% happen. The funny thing is that since FM2021 I don't think I have Liverpool ever seen losing a CL final, no matter what save game.

It allows you to bid for players and offer contracts, but then the page freezes as if you haven’t already done it. It’s a strange way to implement it, if so!
Managed to drag the B team into the playoffs and win them, and immediately resign. My only option are a series of bottom half clubs in the division I just left
I barely see them lose a game! It’s ridiculous.
Haven't had a good crack at the CL in my career yet. Every time I've qualified for it I've ended up moving to a bigger team that missed out on it the season before.
Not with Atletico though, however I've been knocked out in the first knockout round. I should win the league though which I'm more than happy with.

2nd season at Vaduz completed. Finished 3rd in the league, some way off the top 2 of Basel and Young Boys who it may take a while to really compete with.
Won the Liechtensteiner Cup, clubs 49th in about 80 years of it existing.
Managed to go all the way to the semi-finals of the Europa Conference but lost to Lazio. Considering the size of the club it was a great run.
May have to change the system a little bit to really push the team on. It's not that easy with my scouts not really giving me too many good options and the board trying to block every signing I make.
Might be getting a takeover, might not be. It depends on what paper is reporting it each day.

Just lost our top scorer from last season (46 goals) because he had a buyout clause of £2m, I was unable to offer him a new contract because he was unwilling to discuss one with me until I had fulfilled my promise...... to not sell him.

Decided to resign from Fiorentina at the end of the season. After 3 seasons, won back to back league titles, but lost in the CL knockout rounds and then United activated Adeyemi's release clause in the summer. Also fecked up when I signed this one CB wonderkid, I let the club keep him on loan, not realizing he'd be out on loan the entire next season. So now I had no quality depth CB's since he was supposed to replace my other guy whose contract expired. Realistically wasn't going to get any further in the CL without Adeyemi this year.
Edit: Oh shit, Ancelotti got hired by Liverpool, opening up the Real Madrid post. Sent an application, fans laughed off my interest but after an interview they actually offered me the job. Didn't realize my reputation had grown that much. 1 year and league title with Ajax, 3 years and 2 league titles with Fiorentina and now Real Madrid.

Well I just got laughed off by Grimsby and Notts County! Looks like I am staying in Spain!
Real Madrid is insane and complete mess. Every player demands 400k a week if not more. They threw away 100m on this average winger before I took over. Their main players were 36 year old Lewandowski, Casemiro, Courtois still. Only had Rodrygo as a solid starter at a good age. Sold Palhinha who was on 400k for 40m to Liverpool and took Ilaix Moriba off their hands as he's basically become the best midfielder in the world. Should go a long way alone to rebuild them. Had to bring in Max Aarons on loan too since the squad I have had no depth anywhere. Oh, and I have almost no staff whatsoever. Either they all followed Ancelotti to Liverpool or just the clubs been a disaster. Figured I'd take them over for a CL push but it'll probably take some time given how much of a mess they are. Didn't realize I'd be doing a full rebuild.

How good do Newcastle become in your saves? They just won the Europa League in mine. They finished 11th in the league but 6th the season prior.
Yeah if they are on a run they are almost unstoppable, but the funny part is that I dominated them in both games before this one, but I already knew they would be borderline unbeatable. Well time to go shopping again in the summer, despite having a record season with 110 points and 165 goals scored
Admittedly, it's a bit cheated. First I have Haaland who scored 41 goals in only 27 league games. Second I scored 27 goals from corners, next best was Liverpool with 12. Varane is on 11 league goals and Maguire on 9.
Plans for summer shoping, Bin Maguire and find a quality left-footed CB, albeit I have an amazing youth prospect CB who is left-footed, so I might stick with Maguire and just bring the kid in asap, he is 17 but almost looks first team ready, not for the big games but certainly for the smaller games I feel.

They’re very average in mine. Haven’t won’t a trophy. Just hired Conte in 2028.
AI teams have somehow gotten worse and the interaction is broken too.
I just took over at Arandina in the Spanish 4th division. They have given me a big wage budget, and when I get into the team, I realize they have 10 GK’s in the first team!! All on top wages. One star player, two important players, three first team goalkeepers.
I don’t know how it could continue to be this bad in 2021. It appears to be getting worse with each new game

I think what stupidly caused this is the fact that I rotated so much, that even my first eleven only started 25 of 38 PL matches. He already felt that he wasn't getting enough playing time during the winter WC and developed concerns. I told him all is good and that I would start him more often, knowing that we would have a super tough run of games from mid-January till basically the end of March, where every player would get enough playing time, and he first dropped the lack of football concern. Then after he got himself banned from the CL final, by receiving a straight red against PSG, I played Donny more to get him to full match sharpness, which apparently triggered poor Brunos depression and feelings of inadequacy again.
