i can bet that he will never be a relevant player in world's stage anymore.

He is too similar to the like of Balotelli, Pato and co. With lots of talents but never had enough mentality and work ethic

It's his own fault.

He had every opportunity to become a star here and he certainly had the talent, only he knows why it's not worked out. Why it is at 26 he's going to have to rummage around looking for a club that'll take him in January.

My bet is that he'll end up at Newcastle on loan. Hope I'm wrong.

Credit to Martial if he does leave in January.

Decided to leave, informed his agent, informed the club, an unusually clean approach (so far) compared to many other players in the squad.
Credit? He went through his agent and the media to say that he wants to leave the club, on the next press-conference Ragnick was asked about this and he said that he will not discuss these things through the media and that Martial had not said a thing to him, if Martial wanted to leave he would have to talk to him directly. It was after this shitshow Martial had a talk with Ragnick, no class there whatsoever mate.

Manchester United are considering loaning Anthony Martial to Marseille in January to prevent Newcastle from signing Boubacar Kamara. United are considering a £10-12m bid for Kamara. #MUFC [marca]
Sounds too much BS

How does that stack when most have improved?
Have they? Greenwood has but he also moved the same ages as flipping Vinicius. Rashford hasn’t, McTominay hasn’t, who is it that has?

The lad should have left England years ago - many seem to take sheer joy in him failing while also hating anyone who celebrates his success and vice versa.

Just last year, he was our Player of the year and now many are happy to see him leave. This lad must be psychologically affected by how fans treated him last season and beginning of this season, which even led him to ask for security as fans threatened his family.

I believe there is also a bit of déjà vu feelings in his treatment, that many write off as lack of fight;
- In his very first season at the club where he won the golden ball and was top scorer, he was demoted, chastised and demonized as proud by fans and media for wanting to keep his squad number.
-Worked himself up all over again, became one of the best players in the league, then we brought in Sanchez, who was already one of the best players in the league, to take the only spot he had been reduced to in the team.

If his agent was serious, he would have taken the kid to another team 5/6 years ago when Mourinho arrived - we have drained him and have not helped him build up his talent. The kid had alot of passion in his first season, and I remember him celebrating like a mad man with fans when he scored against Everton in the FA semis and other Fergie-time goals.

Some might say that he should toughen up, but well, CR7 and Varane have tough mentalities and even themselves had to escape fan abuse from Madrid.

Full house on the bullshit bingo here.

Blame the club: check
Blame the manager: check
Blame the fans: check
Blame the media: check
Blame his agent: check
Blame competition for places: check

I swear no other player gets this level of free pass.

Man, his post COVID break form really tricked me into thinking he was good. Thought he was a bit of a nothing player before that but genuinely thought he could lead the line for us after that but if form. Turns out it was just a purple patch. Won’t be sad to see him go.

Genuine question. What did he do post Covid? Other than shave all his hair off.

I think we all felt this was about his form, and he tricked us all. Was any of his good form in front of fans, or was it all behind closed doors? I honestly can’t remember now.

What’s that, yen?
I guess he's staying then.
15/20 million max, bro. Even at that price, I wouldn't be surprised if we have to pay part of his salary.
In Zimbabwean dollars, I’m sure there’ll be plenty of interest.
He's 26 years old with 3 years left on his contract. Tammy Abraham just went for 40 mil, Leon Baily for 30 mil, Odegard 40 mil. Martial is absolutely a minimum 40 million player in today's market.

Coming out with his position publicly will affect the clubs negotiating position but he should still command more than Dan James ffs

Yeah but none of those lads were on a wage as big as his and all of them are still in the ‘potential’ zone. Martial was there two seasons ago, now he’s in the ‘expensive flop’ zone.

If a man is walking on a street-side to his job interview in a cream suit on a rainy day, and a speeding car comes cruising passed him while splashing water on his suit by mistake. Feeling bad for the man and hoping that he had taken another direction does not mean that you are blaming the driver, road, car or the rain.

I do not subscribe to hate.

Imagine if we end up offering him a new contact :wenger:
I've no problem with the club offering new contracts to players who are surplus to requirements. It makes sense to protect the value. The obvious and glaring mistake we make however is protecting that value by offering them contracts on wages far higher than they are worth, and what any other club will pay, which at that point destroys any value they had. You'd think a former banker and businessmen would understand something so basic.

Good luck.. He needs a change and he isn’t good enough. Squad player for Spurs next and he can fight his way back from there.

Weird that you confuse attributing blame to everyone and anyone but not the common denominator, with hate.

The man was an idiot for wearing a cream suit on a rainy day. Sometimes you just have to accept that the only person to blame is yourself for the situation you find yourself in.

Just shows, we were fecking terrible and Martial couldn’t even get a minute on the pitch!
Martial’s pretty much pointless these days but if we’re being honest, it’s hard to name a single player we have that hasn’t stagnated in recent years. I hope you’ll have the same energy for Rashford who hasn’t played consistently well for a couple years now and looks lazier by the game.

Was I? I merely stated his wages from that twitter.
so Martial is on 300k/week eh??
I'm really sorry if I hurt your feeling somehow but I didn't mean harm at all. If that's not a sign of surprise or shock, can you please tell me why did you say ''eh??'' so for future reference I don't need to ask the question again.

What are you trying to get/tell from this question or conversation, man? Just get to the point.
I just wanted to know why are you surprised with Martial's wages. Did you think his wages was lower? Were you mistaken his wages with euro and pounds? That's why I asked you how much did you think his wages was?

Possibly he is supposed to show up in a cream suit for his interview.

The psychology of hate dictates that your lack of compassion proves your hatred, because the antidote to hate is compassion.

Your interactions continue to just reinforce EDD (empathy deficit disorder) with these evident symptoms:-
- quick to criticise or dismiss individuals
- struggle to show appreciation towards others
- possess a strong sense of entitlement and expectation
- lack of understanding that others who feel hurt aren’t the cause of their own pain

Let's remain reasonable and understanding as we support all players.

So why were you surprised with Martial's wages again? Were you mistaken his wages with euro and pounds? That was my initial thought which is why I mentioned pounds and euro in my first post.

C'mon man. Just go annoy someone else, or find something else to talk about.
