What backing from this group of players, have you not seen those tweets about utter discontent towards his methods
Well.. Ask these fans who they'd rather back for now and I reckon the majority would back Rangnick. It may be between a rock and a hard place for some though.

Edit: I think you may have misread my earlier point. Backing from the fans against the players, not from the players. Getting the support from the players will depend on his managerial ability, mostly.

I would.

A poll would be nice though.

big noises already coming out about rangnick from the dressing room.

I think this is the start of the united civil war, could get a lot worse before it gets better.

He needs to take this opportunity to cull the weak from the team, but I suspect we will only see that once all trophy routes are ended.

We have too many attackers anyway so some have to go. Ronaldo, Cavani, Rashford, Sancho, Greenwood, Martial, Elanga, Amad, Bruno and DVB. Out of that list Cavani, Martial and DVB should go.

How do you know that they're the apparent troublemakers? or are you just assuming that they are?
I dont know if they're trouble makers. Just found it funny it wasn't long ago we were seen to have a likeable team.

Yeah might see some action when top 4 is gone and out of Champions League too

If he genuinely sees that as a problem that it only confirms what the fans have suspected for a long while. He has no excuses not to purge and mould the team accordingly.

Well Rashford is hardly pulling up trees

Will say it again, lingard is the mole
It's blatantly obvious. He's posting pictures of himself in a Westham kit ffs. Couldn't be any more obvious.

Personally don't think it's Donny doing it or Bailly. Henderson perhaps could be but even he couldn't deny how good DDG has been for us this season.

It's definitely Lingard.

Its a shame most of our youngsters are not ready apart Hannibal maybe. I would back Rangnick for next 6 months no matter what the results are. We have seen enough to know whose fault it is.

You can be inferior and get your tactics wrong, that is fine. But when your attitude and effort is rotten, nothing will work out.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.

It isn’t that easy if there are divided camps and cliques as is being reported. In fact it’s pretty fecking impossible - short of selling the leaders who I’m guessing will be pretty big names on all sides. Plus RR is here for 6 months and he has a bunch of unknowns as coaches…this is mission impossible. God I miss the days when SAF was the law and player power was but an odd term experienced elsewhere.

When you consider how rarely we’ve actually needed any of the whingers I see no reason we couldn’t have got rid and covered for them with youngsters. That’s what we used to do. All this talk of “the United way” and we somehow forgot the most important part.

It’s all 4 of them. There’s been a lot of noise from Van de Beeks agent, and that weird YouTube interview Donny did himself basically selling himself as a no6 as if he was in a job interview. There were a few tweets earlier in the year that Bailly had openly questioned Ole’s choice to start Maguire straight back from injury instead of playing Bailly a few times this season. Henderson’s agent has been planting fabricated interest from the likes of Dortmund and Ajax.

The first thing we need to sort is get rid of the mole who has been continuously leaking info and line ups for a long time now.
Andy Mitten sorta backed this up with his comments on Talk Of The Devils.

Not averse to selling anyone who isn't on board with the manager mad as that sounds

I'm getting close to post Mourinho contempt for the squad again, where I despise 95% of them and wouldn't care if they all left (except Greenwood).

It's honestly becoming tiring how cyclical this is, that's about 3(?) groups of players we've churned through which have all been criticised for their mentality/selling out the manager etc.

And after each iteration, it's always 'we've cleared the deadwood and bad characters out, it'll be different now'. Ronaldo, Rashford, Maguire, probably AWB all very unpopular right now generally, but besides those 4, are there any easy 'bad-eggs' to point the fingers at when people are criticising the squad?

Martial is on his way out and not even in the squads, other wantaways like Lingard I presume are inconsequential.

Full disclosure, this isn't me defending the players, I just can't easily buy that it's the players for the 3rd squad in a row. I suppose it's a sign of shite recruitment.
I’m not surprised there is a negative atmosphere. All season we’ve been hearing that a few of the players are unhappy at not being used despite the poor form.

There were rumours Greenwood wasn’t getting on with Ronaldo.

Bailly, Henderson, Lingard, Van De Beek etc all wanting more games. It’s not going to be a very together squad when there is a fairly large group of disillusioned players.

Maybe you shouldn't take all the tabloid stuff too heavily and seriously. It all strikes me as very opportunistic.

Reporter for the Daily Mail so take from that what you will.

If there is any truth in it, you can fecking leave lads, if training at night and taking your job seriously is oppressive you can go elsewhere

IF reliable Utd journos like Mitten weren't saying it you might have a point, however on his podcast he's confirmed they aren't buying into the new coaches.

We also need to stop making excuses for our managers. If Rangnick fails to control the dressing room and improve our football then we have to call a spade a spade, because the world class ones would have the finesse to navigate through such situations promptly in most cases.
Correct. If you're good enough you'll be able to get players to buy in.

I mean seriously, imagine throwing around words like oppressive because a manager has made you train at night and want's you to run more? How spoiled were this lot under Solskjaer? The fact Pogba fecks off to Dubai every winter while his own people assessed his 'injury' and let us know when he was fit to come back pretty much says all you need to know. And people say Neymar takes the piss with the Rio carnival every year...

Yeah they are an utter joke and clearly have absolutely zero pride for the shirt and it's utterly disgraceful

And this is a two-fold problem. It's why Rangnick wanted McKenna and Carrick to stay on. Sounds like they had the respect of the players.

I find that amazing when they’ve had around 2 weeks of the new coaching team actually being in place.

So Ole and now Rangnick don't rate certain players (that the CAF seemingly fawn over) and they're angry over not playing it is most likely:

Not hard to imagine one or more of those 4 leaking things to the press. Will most likely be an English player and my moneys on Jesse. Could that have anything g to do with Rashfords form? Maybe that’s a stretch but they’re obviously good mates.

VdB can have a legitimate grievance. Why sign him if you won’t play him. The rest of them can feck off. Easily upgraded anyway. Complete hospital pass for Rangnick, though. Tough job made even tougher.
I don't care if they have grievance or not. You don't leak stuff. I don't think it's vdb or even bailly. It is one of Lingard or Hendo.

It’s why Fletcher should be critical despite the bollocks posted online. Though if the splits are along the lines insinuated he may be seen as being too close to a certain ex teammate. Better than eastenders this

There was always a chance it would get worse rather than better by sacking Ole when we did unfortunately. It sounds a complete mess.

The frustrating thing is they also have a point. Bailly was right when he said he should have played instead of Maguire against Leicester. Van De Beek should have had more chances. Fred, Pogba and Mctominay regularly stink the place out and don’t get subbed or dropped.

And Lingard actually might have been just what our forward line needs this season. He runs off the ball and makes space for the others. Rashford, Sancho, Greenwood etc all come short and want the ball to feet.
