Inter made a smart choice buying Correa and Dzeko, to replace him. But Correa's injury forced them to use Dzeko more than what his 35-year-old legs really warrant. Dzeko was kind of underwhelming against Liverpool, it was his 4th start in 10 days, and you could see some Inter fans on Twitter pretending Lukaku would have made the difference. I tend to believe the opposite and I felt that Dzeko's technical quality helped them cope with Barella's absence and go toe to toe with one of the very best teams in Europe. At least for 75 mn. But Dzeko doing the "Lacazette job" made him less present in the box.
