It’s even worse here now. At least in Belgium, getting citizenship is much quicker for spouse. Ukrainians also have visa-free access to Schengen too. Finally being in the EU, you could use the option of simply going to any other EU country and your spouse being able to join you to live instantly without draconian visas and fees.I'm from Belgium. I married in Ukraine, and we face the exact same policies as you when it comes to visa. Prove finances etc... it's a real pain in the ass. So it's not just Britain.
Here we go
Idiot. You just sound like a selfish prick who doesn't give a shit that innocent Ukrainians are dying. If this is the mentality of everyone in the nato the world will be fecked soon.
Ah nice, well, that's something!First batch went into service in December.
I freely admit that I have no desire to fight or die in a war because the latter will happen to me very quickly (never had the training for it, for one).I live in Norway. And I honestly don’t think I’ll be needed for a while - if ever.
But some of this “let’s take the fight to them! They asked for it! How long can we just watch them do this? Let’s go!!!” - talk is insane to me. Start talking that shit if you enlist and are actually ready to go yourself. The wish for retaliation and intervention comes at a cost. Part of that cost might be me and my friends. I’m really not ready for that. But there is seemingly a lot of tough guys ready for battle in here! And if they’re serious, and actually are ready and willing to fight, they have my utmost respect. I’m just not sure half of them are.
These are brave people. Power to them!Tweet

And yeah, I'll take my forum warning to say that.
Japan, maybe. But I don't see China as being expansionist enough to go for Australia.indeed and emboldened china could then start thinking about further wxpansion australia, japan……..
You should. What an absolute mess.first time I consider protesting against our government. I am embarrassed
Also don't forget we have also have various NATO stations here and their air defence systems as well.Ah nice, well, that's something!
Ok thanks.I heard it was something in the region of 3.5 million troops.
Mate you’re well within your right to have these thoughts and concerns. I found it a great post that made a lot of sense.A fair and expected response. I’m not sure I agree, but I totally get your point. I expect you to be updating us from the eastern front when they call for volunteers to fight.
I'm sure you would yeah. Stick to your internet assaults, I reckon.I think the choice whether we should fight is not with us anymore. Putin already made it. Are we just going to let him get away with taking Ukraine then? If I had the right military training for years, like you had apparently, I would go.
What the hell, cant help but find this incredibly ominous.Tweet

“If I had years of training I’d go” yeah, sure. Very convincing! I totally buy that.I think the choice whether we should fight is not with us anymore. Putin already made it. Are we just going to let him get away with taking Ukraine then? If I had the right military training for years, like you had apparently, I would go.
Then NATO will have no choice, but to get into a war. I don't think Russia will hit that button, at least for now.As suspected, Russia likely tried it as 'sanitized' as possible but things might get uglier.

you don't need training. Ukraine is arming anyone between 18 and 60. Good luck and keep us updated!I think the choice whether we should fight is not with us anymore. Putin already made it. Are we just going to let him get away with taking Ukraine then? If I had the right military training for years, like you had apparently, I would go.
You do wonder how COVID has impacted this whole situation, and more pertinently the recovery from it. And not simply just in sending Vlad the Mad further round the bend. All of that while Russia has not finished with COVID, which has claimed at least 752 lives over there yesterday? Madness.
No doubt you'll be off down the army careers centre first thing Monday morning to put your app in won't you?I think the choice whether we should fight is not with us anymore. Putin already made it. Are we just going to let him get away with taking Ukraine then? If I had the right military training for years, like you had apparently, I would go.
It wasn't a fair response. One can want retaliation and also understand that an all-out war is a terrible outcome. People seem to underestimate that the issue isn't really for the people willing and able to fight but for the fact that war largely affect millions of people that aren't fighters kids, elderly and various people that can't fight, they will be collateral damages either due to bombs, bullets or humanitarian crisis(lack of food, medicines, clean water, heating).A fair and expected response. I’m not sure I agree, but I totally get your point. I expect you to be updating us from the eastern front when they call for volunteers to fight.
Well done, he's 13.you don't need training. Ukraine is arming anyone between 18 and 60. Good luck and keep us updated!
I think it’s a perspective that gets a bit lost along the way, at least.Mate you’re well within your right to have these thoughts and concerns. I found it a great post that made a lot of sense.
No argument there whatsoeverThat is a very fair point.
I was more making a comparison between the two as it summaries the gulf in equipment Ukraine is up against.
You should wind it in a bit.You just sound like a selfish prick who doesn't give a shit that innocent Ukrainians are dying. If this is the mentality of everyone in the nato the world will be fecked soon.
Massively more of everything than Russia. 3.2 million troops approx v 900kHow big is natos army?
Really wish that was the case. But sadly not.157 Typhoons ( eurofighters) 35 Lightining 2, the New Sabre as well as the older Rapier, Shorad systems. Then we can add the Navy to it
