Ragnicks benched him alot and subbed him off most games.

I very much doubt he's green lighted a 400k a week deal for the fraud

Stop believing the red tops

This guy needs to be let go if United has any desire to win anything.

Rangnick won’t be green lighting anything.

Is there not a little bit of you that thinks United will still go and give him a bumper new deal despite what anyone on the football side of things says. ;)

If there isn't then I question your connection to reality.

He has to go, I don't care if we lose him on a free once again, we might have lose him twice on a free but letting him leave now would be a victory for us and would show intent on part of the club. You either keep your head down, give your all for the badge or leave, as simple as that.
No player, I repeat no player is bigger than the badge on the shirt.

You never know, ETH might think he can use Pogba effectively but its simply not worth the risk of giving him a pay increase and a long term deal if there is even a remote chance he won't fit into a new system and team that ETH wants to build.

I would be tempted to just tell ETH that Pogba is gone.

He could be useful, sure, you never know now. But right now, he is too big a gamble to play with, his fat manager will make sure he gets a new fat contract to stay at United and then we will be back in that circle.
As einstein once said "you can't do the same thing and expect different results". We have to let him go, he hasn't cut it at this club in almost 5 years. This time, we have to be ruthless as a club, we have been lenient for far too long. It's time to let players know that their actions or lack of actions have repercussions now.

I wouldn't offer him a new contract at all. Shake hands and he can move on.
See what other mugs will pay him anything close to what he got here.
Spoiler - nobody will.

I don't remember when last time I was counting days until player is gone. Even when Alexis was sitting on the bench I wasn't so upset. I just hope there is no contract for this two-faced snitch.

Why? Pogba in a fully functioning system would be very useful.
He's been underwhelming under two managers. We know he's capable but he can't be arsed to put in a good performance when needed. Regardless of where he's asked to play, he should put in the effort every time he steps on the pitch. He's not the only one but we're talking about Pogba.
What happens when he extends for huge wages and finds out he doesn't like ETH's philosophy afterall? If we had the option to extend his contract for another year, fine, but we don't have that luxury and ETH has no idea what version of Pogba he'd get. So off you go.

The idea that the players are upset that one of their peers increased the pay structure is hilarious.

Just could not be true…..even in our wildest dreams/nightmare of our managements incompetence could highly paid corporate executives come to a conclusion that a very highly paid, highly ineffective, regularly injured or unavailable, negative both personally (especially while away with national side) and even more so thru load mouth agent, would warrant a new contract, let alone a huge inflation busting pay rise.

If we are trying to stop the ridicule then this wouldn’t be advisable.
This just has to be click-bait shit stirring from the anti-Utd/bashing brigade.

Pogba deserves the Farmers league where he can join Neymer in swanning around half arsed turning occasionally but promoting his PR full time.

Au Revoir.

We should have used covid 19 break to re-jig some players contracts and "done a Ramos" where we negotiated reduced terms for players we wanted out or were not providing value. Ive no problem paying top money if the players effort and commitment matched that. But we can name many players that don't meet that benchmark and it's a shame we didn't take that approach at the time.

Pogba has consistently been poor for us since he joined us. His first year was his best, as he was motivated. After that, he had no desire to perform.
Apart from his residual value (as an asset to the company), there is no footballing reason to keep him here. I just don't think he is particularly good at football. He turns up for France, but not for us.
Jose was right when he called him a virus. He should've been sold that Summer.

we need to turn over a new leaf. Goodbye pogba.
Correct. But the problem with our club is that they keep players who are more suited to the bottom of the table or the Championship. Lingard is the perfect example. We have plenty of other players in our team who should never have got a contract extension.
Maguire, is another example - our worst defender and he is made captain!
For all these reasons, I am very sceptical that anything will change once ETH arrives this Summer. I think ETH will be fired within 3 years and we'll have most of our current team members still in the squad, stinking the place up.

True.
But we are several years away from having a team functioning like a well-oiled machine.
We are about to play the team which lies at the bottom of the table. They'll certainly play with more physicality and purpose (than us) and there is a good chance that they'll win.
This is probably the worst we have been since Fergie left. Even Moyes' team which saw him get fired after 10 months was more potent than this team.

No one credible has followed up on this story so likely BS.
We need to make changes at the club and letting him go needs to be the beginning.

Am beginning to worry. Surely someone wants him on a free? If we give him a bumper new contract i just give up. Yet more wasted years coming up. possibly my all time least favourite United player.
Not only has he had a wantaway dont give a xxxx attitude for 5 years but is looked up to by others in the dressing room.
The likes of Rashford used to have a great attitude but Pogba’s presence poisons the dressing room in my opinion.
please just get rid along with several others - and have a big refresh.

Not really seeing anything wrong with this tbh what did they wrong ?
You're not alone. These fans that pick out things like this to complain about must really be fun lads to chill with or have a night out with.

Its still doing the rounds, I saw mention of it just a few moments ago as "breaking news" I hope and pray its not so, we cannot afford to carry this waster any longer. Get rid of him!

I don’t think I can keep supporting us to the same extent if we aren’t at least moving forward and learning from our many many mistakes. This would be another huge expensive mistake. At best a dysfunctional marriage of convenience, at worst a cynical ploy by the owners to keep the wage bill high and the transfer spend as low as possible. A fresh start is clearly best for all parties from any rational standpoint . I want to see us hassle and press teams and dominate them physically. We will never be able to do that with Pogba as one of our main players.

I am sure he would be able to get £350-£400k a week at PSG with them having to pay no transfer fee. I love Pogba but he needs to go. We will be a much better football team without him. As crazy as that may sound.

The club went for ETH, who demanded to have a say on players recruitment, that includes outgoings, incomings, as well as contracts renewal, so far only Bruno signed a new deal before ETH news, and from now on, I think the club will wait for ETH arrival before renewing anyone's contract.

I suspect the new contract that was offered to Pogba last year is no longer on the table, Pogba is leaving this summer.
In a normal situation, the club shouldn't have extended Bruno before ETH was made official
