Old man Milner struggling out there. Hope he gets sent off.

At this stage of the season, they must be the only team in Europe to have no injuries and no fatigue. Definitely doping.
Nah, they just rotate. 5 of the players are not even playing from midweek. Villareal wasn't even an intense game, anyway; they controlled it from start to finish.

Literally everything goes their way. Unbelievable. They are damn good, but the luck they get along the way is unreal. It’s almost like the dark forces of the universe are working with them.
Agreed even their route to the CL final is absolutely ridiculous

It's their work rate that gets me. It's fecking relentless in nearly every game they play. They have to be on the juice or some shit.
It's partly because they specifically recruit for players that can actually do the physical work, as Rangnick has been complaining we don't.

But also if you actually look at the running and pressing stats, they do a lot less than you think. They just maximise its effectiveness by making the pitch smaller, pressing in specific areas and having a high success rate when they do press. The same is true of City to an even greater extent as the amount of posssesion they have minimises the off the ball work they have to do.

A team like Leeds under Bielsa put in way more actual physical work than either, for example

Not a bad thing really, with everything in the universe working with them they still only won 1 PL 1 CL. And if City do their job it will stay this way.

I think their peak was higher that season but they have a far deeper squad now.
Fair enough as they didn't get too many injuries that year, but their consistently was incredible, that league run while also disposing of bayern and barca was supremely impressive, compared to their rather tame cl run this year.

I know the hate and all but so much bizzare stuff is being posted here. Please stop with the stupid conspiracy theories and how can anyone say Pool play ugly fotball ? Like come on ? If United played anything like that every fan would praise it for being the best there is.

That's what they said about us when we were winning trophies every season, minus the being damn good part

Sad to say but Newcastle were beaten psychologically befire a ball was kicked. They are at home and can trouble this Liverpool side but they don't seem to believe it.
The aura of Liverpool and City will take a while to match even if Ten Hag turns it around.

How can nobody find a counter tactic to the Van Dijk 80 yard diagonal ball to the right wing back. Liverpool constantly do it. It's their main attacking play. Nobody man marks the wing backs

I don't think they're ugly to watch but I don't think they're massively entertaining either.

Also comparing any style to our non style is really a mute point

This was the one possible game Liverpool might have slipped up in and are 1-0 up within 20 minutes.

Title race will be decided on Man City and if they can win their remaining games. I'm not convinced that they can.

Yeah, Leeds did run themselves ragged, didn't they. Also seemed a bit more reckless when they did it. The proverbial headless chicken, whereas I guess there's more subtly to Liverpool. It just seems like every time I watch them there's no let-up. I take what you're saying, but they don't seem to suffer from fatigue.

As for the transfers, yeah I agree. Look at Diaz. If ever there was a player that suited a team down to the ground, it's him with Liverpool. He's perfect for them, unfortunately. That's what good planning and competence does for a club.

I'm very afraid if that if pool win this they're crowned champions basically, I feel City will drop points, their match with real was much more grueling.

Not watching. What piece of luck went their way today? Klopp is a good and lucky manager.

Remember when Milner used to be one of footballs nice guys, Liverpool have really brought out the cnut in him.
