Will this get him in the NT for the world cup?

Been saying this for a while. Modric-Camavinga-Valverde is our best midfield configuration
Think this game has got to be a turning point for that, Kroos was awful and Camavinga changed the game.

Cracking player but he didn't want to move to England and Madrid was a dream move for him so there's little reason to feel bitter about missing out.

On the other hand, putting him in against tiring legs is a very clever ploy as his engine is already off the charts so it's like opposing players are running through treacle trying to keep up with him.

Injected new life into Madrid when he came in. Hard to believe he’s only 19.

Good choice of clubs by him . He’d be on the bench for us or sent on loan to the championship probably

Probably sent on loan to a Dortmund or a Rangers and left to rot and waste his career on the bench whilst we keep clinging onto the Lingards, Matas and Matics of the world.

Really brought life into their midfield. The kind of player we seem to be missing

Brilliant against PSG and now Chelsea. Star in the making. Let’s not forget Valverde who was brilliant in an unconventional role.

We should have gone for him harder , had a gut feeling that he's talented.

Very good cameos against top teams. Still a long way to go for him. I am yet to be completely convinced by him.

Same, he's just too young to say anything definitive about him given his ups and downs.

He was always going to Real (or PSG if Real didn't come for him). He had been giving off the Mbappe impression for a while ("PLEASE TAKE ME REAL MADRID I DREAM OF YOU EVERY NIGHT") before Real took him. We have the most incompetent board in Europe but I don't necessarily blame them for this one.

I just got the impression that we weren't going hard enough for him as his agent tends to mostly do business with British clubs, but I suppose you are correct so not worth fretting over.

It didn't really need to be a gut feeling, he was great at Rennes, already technically complete at 17. It was more of a question of where he wanted to go. It's the tax we've been paying for not maintaining that CL winning 2008 side, Madrid built theirs and have maintained it so all the talents want to go there.

Let's not be irrational now!, not necessarily true when we have such poo for CM.

Wise choice nonetheless though.

He also had a massive drop-off the following season. When a player is that young, there's no certainty and that's why his move to Real Madrid could have been a complete disaster that young. He's had some ups and downs, but he is getting playing time and he's slowly picking up his role there. But I disagree that he was (or even still is) a sure thing right now. There's so many ways where it could go wrong, but I've always liked his maturity and personality and I think he's on the right track.

If injuries don’t come after him, he might become the best midfielder in the world in a couple of seasons.

He looks amazing every time I see Madrid play. Just effortlessly carrying the ball through midfield and some very nice passes. It feels like he often gets yellow cards so if he tones it down a bit or becomes more sneaky he is going to become a really really great player. Madrid have some insane talent building up...

Doubt we had any chance of signing him even if his dream wasn’t to play for Madrid

He’s a demon in matches like this with his ball progression. I love a central midfielder like this who can carry the ball. And he backs it up with insane pressures and tackling stats. Awesome profile of player

Not at all.
My personal opinion is that Bellingham is a bit overrated. Good all action type midfielder but technically Camavinga has always been on another level. Better long range passing, close control and running with the ball. Just my opinion from watching the two.

That great run for the penalty made me think he will end up being what Anderson should have been for us.

Funny when we were linked the number of not ready, had a poor season at Rennes, overhyped etc etc. He is a special player up there....Bellingham and Camavinga are the best two young central midfielders in the world and we seriously missed out there, imagine putting those two into our midfield how much better our side would be. Love him, was my dream signing for some time.

The French have a plethora of hugely talented yougn players we should be after, for me Camavinga topped the lot though
