I remember years ago on another football forum I frequented how Celtic fans said ‘I was in Seville for the UEFA Cup Final’ to prove they were a true fan, and then it became a meme within football about how a ridiculous inconceivable number of Celtic fans were in Seville, ranging from 100k to like 60 million.

Weird how the universe finds a way for Rangers to now go to a European final in Seville.

The last 10 years Rangers have gone from the bottom of Scottish football to a European final. Amazing.

Hope for the sake of Scottish football they win it, be a great boost to the game up here even though the Celtic fans will hate it

My wit's end
After seeing what Rangers fans did to Manchester in 2008, I'll be sending my prayers to the city of Seville and my ill wishes to Rangers.

Seeing that Villarreal badge there still pisses me off.
We should have won - but at least Villarreal have shown since that point that they are no mugs at all.

It really wasn't as big of a disgrace as some make out. We were the better side though.

Oh I don’t take anything away from Villarreal, as you said they proved since then what a tough team they are to play against but we really should’ve won that game. I’m frustrated with our own performance more than anything, just never turned up.

Yeah I think i'd have preferred if we got completely outplayed. The fact we had all the ball and barely did anything - then zero subs until too late. Meh.

So far its the Frankfurt casuals that are doing the fighting.
They attacked West Ham fans at random before the semi leaving two in hospital too. As far as I could see the blame was entirely with the Frankfurt fans as the the Frankfurt police chief apologised for their behaviour, although it was only the Daily Mail and Twitter reporting it.

Currently a warzone in Seville judging by the videos going around, Rangers fans once again disgracing themselves on the biggest stage like 2008

Looks like the well reknown well behaved Rangers fans have kicked off now.

Was only a matter of time
How can you see who knows who kicked it off? It actually looks like Rangers fans are sitting outside at the bars & the Frankfurt fans are approaching them?

There were 200 Frankfurt Casuals going round the streets last night looking for trouble, Seville police confirmed that.

Come on now, we know their form, it's actually a running joke about trouble kicking off tonight after Manchester that time, they even had to get their legends to go on to record on TV and to say to them to behave themselves while abroad, its been the main worry and talk since they got to final,..................if you want to think it's not them, and they just victims from the Frankfurt ultras, I've magic beans here to sell ya

I've no doubt Frankfurt have idiot fans too

It's far more likely that any troublemakers in blue will be undercover Celtic thugs trying to bring doon the name of the club.

The Chelsea fans that wrecked Manchester couldn't make it over this time?

All I know is that if Rangers win then nobody on my street will be able to sleep because of all the drunk Rangers fans getting pished, singing up and down the street and fighting one another.

And if they lose it'll be the exact same as well.

In case people weren’t aware, there are 200 million Rangers fans and 100 million Frankfurt fans in Seville. Fantastic support. In case anyone forgets I am happy to send out a reminder in an hour.

Well mate they will boost the coefficients, pretty sure they have more points this season than the anyone else in Scotland.

Not a dig at any of the other teams in Scotland, I hope they all do well.

There are Frankfurt fans in that video wearing ballys. A Peculiar sartorial accessory to shorts and a bare chest for the mild tempered football you would’ve thought.

Frankfurt fans went on the rampage against West Ham fans and in Rome few years back too.

Yes I understand the whataboutism but that doesn't interest me in the slightest for reasons I've mentioned.

I pray for Seville if rangers lose tonight,

Watch the videos. In every one the aggressors are bare chested athletic looking Frankfurt fans, some are adopting MMA stances. They‘re hardcore hooligans that put two West Han fans in hospital last week for which the Frankfurt police chief apologised. They were attacking regular fans at random.

Although Rangers fans have form it isn’t whataboutism to actually looking at what’s going on.

There was always going to be trouble whatever the result because both groups of supporters have form.

You should forfeit your right to a passport for behaving like that. If you can't handle a few drinks in the sun, you shouldn't be allowed to leave home.

Disgraceful fans, should ban all British teams instantly from all European competitions for the rest of the season.

Shame the RAF didn’t deploy some spitfires to defend the Rangers fans, who’ve been singing about them all week

I fully support this. Blanket 12 month ban for all British and German sides from European competition.

Where's Maggie when you need her?
