God thanks for reminding of that time he rocked up to a CL semifinal with this ultra defensive lineupHe hasn’t won a CL knockout game since 2014. He’s beyond finished.

It really would not.BIg fan of Mourinho (not his football) and not a fan of PSG but it would be pretty funny if he won the CL with them. Would make a lot of people track back and reexplain their opinions.
Sadly, the longer a club stops winning major honors, the longer it will take to compete again. If PSG want a shot at CL glory, Mourinho is still one of the few coaches remembering what they really need to bring to that table. It really would not.
A large section of this forum agrees that the only managers worth anything nowadays are Klopp, Pep, ETH and maybe Zidane and Conte.
Therefore, United's repeated failures are not caused by the club being rotten to the core, but by the fact that all of their managers in the last nine years have been either frauds or has-beens.
He’s an absolute criminal.God thanks for reminding of that time he rocked up to a CL semifinal with this ultra defensive lineup
That was the end of good/prime Jose, it was the game against Atleti, right?God thanks for reminding of that time he rocked up to a CL semifinal with this ultra defensive lineup
No. Whenever they add 'breaking' and 'talksport sources' they are reliable. The other 99.9% of times they’re trash. You're joking, right?
True. He kinda fecked his own career over by his refusal to adapt and evolve his tactics and was dead set on sticking with the same thing he did in the past only difference was in the later stages he had completely lost that aura where players would do anything for him.Guys a dinosaur, a remnant of a bygone era, and a twat to boot. PSG also happens to be 90% massive twats.
Twat Squared + Tactically out of touch, would = Disaster in my opinion.
Would be fun to watch though, given my equal dislike for the both of them.
Makes no sense, but I guess I remember that from now on.No. Whenever they add 'breaking' and 'talksport sources' they are reliable. The other 99.9% of times they’re trash.
Nah, you don't get under my skin. I like educating members on this forum. I don't watch much Portuguese football and I don't know which united fan does either unless they are from Portugal, a scout or just have an interest in that league.Wow, I really get under your skin don't I!!
Just thought that someone with superior knowledge about football such as yourself, you'd know a high profile manager such as Conceicao? Strange that you don't.
Usually a team picks a manager they believe will do a better job than the last, which is what Spurs done with Jose.
Would be strange for PSG to pick what they believe to be an inferior manager to Poch as his replacement, wouldn't you agree?
If thats the case the fan base is clueless. If ETH belongs on that liste, but Conte and Zidane are 'maybe's' you're deluded. It really would not.

ETH has his spot secured on the list but Tuchel isn't even a "maybe" ^^If thats the case the fan base is clueless. If ETH belongs on that liste, but Conte and Zidane are 'maybe's' you're deluded.
Things always look better when you have the best tools at your disposal. He wasn't able to work his magic on a regular club like Everton was he?Honestly Mourinho could work with PSG, nobody is really finished. We thought Ancelotti was done at the top level but here we are.
Horses for courses. Poch would actually be more suited to Everton than PSG.Things always look better when you have the best tools at your disposal. He wasn't able to work his magic on a regular club like Everton was he?
Yep! He captured lightning in a bottle for a minute there, with his crazy charisma and ability to stir up an underdog mentality. He reall was great for a little while, shame he was long past his best by the time he rocked up to Old Trafford. That spell at RM changed something for him though, no doubt, and his tactics were already growing outdated.True. He kinda fecked his own career over by his refusal to adapt and evolve his tactics and was dead set on sticking with the same thing he did in the past only difference was in the later stages he had completely lost that aura where players would do anything for him.
From winning the CL 2 times to crying over winning conference league.
He would not.He would win the CL quite convincingly. He would Probably make them into a counter attacking well oiled machines like 2011/12 Madrid.
I really hope this happens!
Please it will be more like Assist Sporting Director... and not some low-level pleb job.No chance.
For all intents and purposes, Mbappe is assistant manager. There's no way he would work for a club where the tail wags the dog.
He had enough of player power nonsense at United.
For that very reason, no manager who has a backbone would ever manage PSG whilst a player has a say over transfers and the general running of the club.
Tactics are still one of Mourinhos strengths. That was evident at Utd when our toxic dressing room was hanging managers out to dry. Roma just won their first ever european trophy. We won our first europa league trophy under him.Mourinho is far from tactically superb. This isn’t 2010. His teams are shite at pressing, shite at playing out from the back, far from compact and to top it off they’re not as fit as the best teams in the world.
Tactics doesn't mean getting one result here and there, it's about getting consistent results and getting more than sum of its parts.Tactics are still one of Mourinhos strengths. He demonstrated his tactical ability for us at places like anfield away where utd worked on a specific play to find space inbetween the right sided centre back and liverpool right back. Lukaku flick on, for rashford to run onto and score. Something that was worked on in the training ground.
Many dont like mourinho because of his time here, but tactically there arent many better.
assistant to the manager.No chance.

Maybe Jose is what that dressing room needs?Breaking: PSG is strongly considering throwing a molotov cocktail in their already inflammable dressing room.
That is true both points. But putting utd biases aside, he is tactically very good. You have to be anyway to survive and prosper in Italian football where the formation of the opposition can change 3-4 times a game.Tactics doesn't mean getting one result here and there, it's about getting consistent results and getting more than sum of its parts.
Ole did double on Pep, doubt anyone is calling him tactical genius.
He was good, I will always agree with that. Is he good now? I don't think so. He is on decline and game has moved on.That is true both points. But putting utd biases aside, he is tactically very good. You have to be anyway to survive and prosper in Italian football where the formation of the opposition can change 3-4 times a game.
all that went out the window when he started separating him and us. Saying the club is used to being knocked out early in the CL etc.The hate that Jose Mourinho has on this forum is so weird and disturbing. The man is still our most successful manager post SAF and a lot of things he said in the past later turned out to be right.
He was hated before he even stepped in the door, after his tenure it's no suprise that the hate is perhaps even worse. The hate that Jose Mourinho has on this forum is so weird and disturbing. if you want to educate me, I'd implore you to start improving your knowledge of world football, might actually open your eyes to better managers than Poch, of which there are many!!Nah, you don't get under my skin. I like educating members on this forum. It has happened before when club pick managers that are inferior to the last. That what happens when you have clowns making decisions. Happened at United with Ole in place of Jose, spurs with Jose in place of poch, Chelsea with lampard in place of Conte, and the list goes on. The only way to know if it works out is if the new manager hired, does much better than the previous one and at psg, it would be hard to find a manager that would do better than poch in the 1 and half year in charge because only tuchel went further than him in the competition that matters the most to psg.
