I wonder how Milwaukee would have fared against the Warriors had Middleton not gotten injured and they beat Boston. Other than Game 5 there was hardly a moment where you felt like the Warriors didn't have the best player on the court. Maybe against Giannis things would be different.

From winning the draft lottery to winning the Championship in a span of about 4 years. The development and key pick ups like Wiggins, Porter, etc has been impressive.

Huge adversity Warriors have overcome the past few seasons to reach the summit again.

That was a bit of an anomaly and more a situation of circumstance. Let's not pretend that they were in any way similar to the current Houston, Orlando, and OKC.

Steph only shot badly from 3 but otherwise played very well in G5. Don't only look at box scores man.
He was bad. I watched the entire game and even Steph's demeanor at the end was admitting to himself he was bad and historically bad for him. But his team played well and Wiggins stepped up.

No they weren't, but you're only as good as your last game and they were rock bottom. They earned their way back to the top.

I am very harsh on coach Kerr but the day the coach of the year awards came out I said it was so wrong that he didn’t get a single vote. He has done a tremendous job with this roster

Steph is really emotional here.

Makes sense since it cements his legacy.

Wiggins, who was considered the worst contract in the league, was the second best player in a championship run. Hopefully he gets the credit he deserves. The players absolutely love him.

Let’s hope they can figure out a way to keep GP2

Bob Myers assembled this team and Kerr has a tremendous coaching staff, again.

Atkinson and Brown are leaving for head coaching positions. This has been a tremendous team effort by Myers, Kerr, and the coaches.

Boston going down so big in the first half was tragic, can’t help but feel like they’ll be looking back at this series with massive regrets.

Seeing Klay & Steph get another ring after the adversity is nice.

I don’t think they can have too many regrets. Warriors became stronger as the series moved on and Boston basically had no depth at all. Difficult to win a finals series when you have like 6 players on the roster who can stay in the game

Really disappointing series for Tatum. First team all NBA player and he was the 4th best player in this series

538 had the Warriors as the 22nd best team in the league at the start of the season

Tatum is going to be criticized a lot after this, but it is adversity he has to get through.

Tatum deserves his criticism because he fell way short of what is expected of someone of his stature as first team all NBA.

His idol is Kobe. He wore a purple 24 arm band in Game 7 against Miami. Then he turned this performance in the Finals and then those 4th quarter performances?

He has a lot of room to grow and improve. But he has major flaws to be considered a top tier player in the league.

I think it shows how good you have to be. He knows now how much harder he has to work to become a better scorer.

What a game from GSW and Steph! Epic win for them these playoffs.

Other than Curry, Wiggins was fantastic. Tatum was really disappointing, expected a lot from him, which was why I had the Celtics as winning the finals.
