This thought crossed my mind, he didn't land himself in it with his employers, but came across as understanding to the fans frustrations at the same time, at least he's clearly a smart guy.

I'd guess it's pretty constant communication with the bookkeeping about various offers/scenarios. It's not £70m flat usually, it's over time, bonusses ect.

Common theme with us. Seems to me that it's because we always want to structure the payments in ways that make it easier for us to afford.
Recording someone like that and broadcasting it is grim, but even on a pragmatic level, you’ve basically ensured that the CEO will be so gun shy about getting caught out again that he’ll completely shut down when it comes to speaking. Doesn’t seem the most sensible thing for supporters who want greater engagement with the club.
They shouldn’t have filmed him without permission but fans have been treated with such disdain by the club and engagement is virtually non existent so what do you expect.
Arnold would have known (and maybe wanted) everything to end up on social media whether it was filmed or not but least he had guts to do it.

Really seems like that Arnold has the passion and cares. I loved his honesty and I think the club is in good hands.
