Welcome to the club Tyrell! Seen him play a couple of times and have been impressed with him, he looks a player with the potential to become a top full back if he’s willing to work hard for it.

Left back isn’t the most pressing of positions though it’s by no means a waste of money. We have quite a number of players who can play that position but between Shaw’s injury woes and Telles who doesn’t quite meet the standard, there definitely is potential for a player to oust them two, however we do need to sell existing left backs like Telles and Williams. Also, it is the remit of the club to identify players of Tyrell’s profile, when one comes on the market at that price we shouldn’t let it go.

have to disagree on this one....Shaw is better than Telles but clearly ETH isn't enamored by either guy or Williams if he's bringing in a new Left back

it probably means that Alvaro Fernandez isn't ready for the first team yet either

Irwin is one if my all time favourite United players, never let us down, if he gets even 75% near to Urwin, he will be excellent.

Yup. Considering how many obvious gaps we have in our squad it’s nuts that we’re into July and our first signing is someone who plays the one position we’re probably least in need of an upgrade.
