Don't think he did telegraph reposted yesterday's article.
Oh haha. Still about 4 different journalists said the deal to Chelsea was all but done. I went to sleep last night thinking I would wake up to the Ornstein seal of approval

Yeah i thought this was done too. So many journalists reported and even Barca ones said Kounde to Barca won't happen.

What made me think it was done was not the English journalists saying it but the Sevilla sources. They made it sound like Sevilla absolutely didn’t want to sell within LaLiga and much preferred to sell abroad.

I’m still kinda hopeful until we see what Ben Jacobs, Matt Law etc confirm this stuff.

I don't understand how Barcelona are pull all this business off. You'd think that they learnt from Bartemeus mistakes.

I also like Kounde, happy if he stays in Spain.

However, i rather Chelsea spend their money on Kounde than FdJ. They will become desperate soon and throw money around to get some statement signings
They will go after Kimpenbe. No point in signing midfielders when your central defense is weak.

Raphinha and now Kounde?! Ouch.

Surely they have to sell FdJ… no one wants their other crap so he’s only one who’ll offset some of their spend? Boom or bust for Barca.

If it wasn’t for the fact we need him, it’d be tempting to drop our offer.
You forgot a certain Polish striker.

This guy is 3 cm taller than Martinez and his height was never an issue when he was almost a done deal for Chelsea.

Levers are the most beautiful thing in Catalan these days

Na Romero is tier 1 for Barca.
Romero is clowning whatever reputation he had over this. The other Barca sources are calling him out for wumming people. He sad a few days ago he was going to enjoy irritating English fans.

Are Barca on some serious hijack mission this summer? Virtually every report was saying he’s done deal to Chelsea last night.

He’s certainly had some heavy wumming sessions with FDJ.

We should of signed this guy instead of Maguire. would of been cheaper, or sell Maguire and still sign him.

 if this happens, then you sorta have to admire their audacity to try and sign every one under the sun at the same time trying to manage their wage bill by offering paycuts to their current players.

It has this image of a compulsive gambler who’s just throwing everything at it to recoup all his losses! Madness!

Don't kid yourself, he's obviously waiting for barca or he'd already be in London doing the medical. Only way this doesn't happen now is if barca feck it up.

They’ve basically hijacked Chelsea’s right side with Raphina and Kounde last minute.

well at least this might burn some bridges between the two clubs and Chelsea might not try to get involved in the De Jong transfer
We’ve never been in for De Jong. The link has never made sense.

There are journos imbedded with Seville. I pay attention to them. This reporter is with the team.

Jules Koundé has returned to work alone this afternoon. His transfer is not yet closed, so he will continue to focus on #SevillaFC until the negotiation with Chelsea is completed. @marca

If there was anything I have learned this window is Boehly’s lawyers are incredibly slow to close a deal. This Kounde transfer has the added fun that he just had a surgery so that being checked is going to slow it further. I would rather Chelsea do their due diligence and possibly get hijacked than spend £56m on a player with a surgery that was not successful.
