Seems to have quick feet and great acceleration. Has that ability to get about the pitch and past players. How's his CF play - back to goal / movement / aerial prowess? We desperately need someone dynamic upfront with Ronaldo not running much and Martial being languid by nature.

Can't really call Nunez a top goalscorer given his "feats" are in a weak league.
Also while we obviously do lack goals it's important that the player is the right fit for the new system rather than just a name to narrow some gap. Ronaldo and Varane were supposedly narrow the gap players but we somehow blew that open wide.

Concrete interest from Chelsea, combined with the already high price demanded from Salzburg, doesnt look good atm, because to enter a bidding war for anything over 30m just wouldnt make sense right now .. but then again, the report just says that there was a meeting which the agent didnt want to confirm on record, so for now I'm still on the muppet train

Get this done. Stop wasting time and see him go somewhere else and become 10 times as expensive in two seasons time.
We missed on too many CF prospects, so we should not let this one go to another club. Anything past 30m would be crazy but try a deal like the Martial's or Amad's (something like 30 + 10 + 10). I feel this boy can become really special.

But considering his agent met representatives from Newcastle to PSG in a matter of a week begs the question is there any concrete intent from us to really buy him this season or did we just ask to be posted since we're keeping tabs on the guy form 2019 onward. Well at least his agent talking to clubs means that Salzburg is willing to sell even this season and I would wager the asking fee wont be as high as they were saying..

We can offer him first spot in the Europa league, that would be great for his development.

Let Chelsea have him, I don’t care for all this doom and gloom trepidation on other clubs signing this and that. There will be other players and Chelsea can’t sign them all, City have a striker, Liverpool do, Arsenal do, Spurs do, PSG too, Madrid and Barca too so there will be more targets and we will get them. If Sesko comes, great, if not then we move to another target. Stop stressing what you can’t control.

Had a few good games and the agent probably figured it was time to do the rounds and see what's up. Probably got a lot of attention after the Liverpool game, I imagine. Sounds like the club aren't heavily interested in selling but might ride the hype for a quick out if they feel it's time to cash in while the name is hot if they can't see him being as hyped up in one season from now. Tough call, gamble on all ends, as always I guess. But definitely sounds like player/agent push rather than anything else.

Every name that appears at the top of the market is always linked to the same names. Hard to initially verify how true this stuff is at first, takes a while. Like De Jong, at first ‘United target FDJ also attracting interest from PSG, Bayern and City’. Turns out that there was no truth in that. Inevitably with Sesko, PSG, Real, Chelsea and probably Bayern will be thrown into it. Will take some days/weeks for the smoke to clear.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Chelsea signed him. They are even more desperate for a striker than we are. They don’t even have one.
United need to sign a Ronaldo replacement if they're on the market though (not saying he will ever reach that level, or of Haaland) but I'm saying if you have a potentially good player and they can get some minutes over a season just do it. Can't go into a season in 12 months looking at Depay or some other option just because they're available.

As long as we get Frenkie, let them have Sesko. He is a prospect, FDJ is the real thing and we have players who can fill the striker role in our system.
Damn I'm amazed that so many top clubs are in for him. I really don't see it based on highlight reels, all touches compilations etc. Just seems very limited.

I've just watched his highlights and imo this lad got potential. He's two footed and has a powerful and quite accurate shot by both feet. And he has quite a nice touch. That's very important for a striker. He's also very tall, big, strong and quite fast especially for his size. His technique is nothing amazing but actually very decent. He can do one touch pass and flick pretty well. As you said hard worker too, which is also very important for a modern #9.
Plus imo he's quite mature for his age. In the highlights I watched there's a number of instances he would take the shot but decided to pass to another teammate in a better position. That means good decision making and a good team player.
Based on the highlights imo he's a good ~30m player. I'm happy with what I saw however all the highlights are from the Austrian league I think. With all due respect they don't defend well there (at all).
