Imagine you needed Casemiro and Kante to 'unlock' a player? What's the fecking point in having that player then?
Come on now. He gets regularly selected in one of the best national teams out there. He didn’t work out for us and the relationship turned sour. Let’s not start pretending he’s some pointless player that no coach would be interested in etc

Kroos and Modric themselves needed Casemiro to be unlocked.

Midfielders complement each other, it's not something made up.

I'm not talking about players complimenting each other. There's this need to say that Pogba needed unlocking, like he was being held back and needed someone else to do the running.

Well he left us on a free and no one was interested except Juventus.

Right. So I guess you’ll ignore the fact that he starts regularly for the current World Cup holders? Why is the manager selecting him? Is he a fool?

Edit: and ‘except Juventus’. Yeah, I guess he must be a complete waste of space of a player if Juventus are giving him a contract

I doubt he'll make the first team for the coming world cup and most likely come off the bench in all honesty, but anyway we better save this for the Pogba thread.

That's what they all say. Who the fek wants the challenge of being battered by Brentford while Ronaldo whinges from his wheelchair.
This logic is mind blowing. Maybe just maybe, when a quality player goes to a struggling team, he’s taking on the challenge to reinvigorate the team and help them win and avoid being battered.

We could sign 10 of the 1970s Brazil team, put them around Pogba, and he’d still be fecking shite.
Well, they'd be really old so yeah. Instead, we could put literally every other squad that he's played with outside of this dysfunctional United system and he'd be fine. Guy has be an integral part of winning trophies at Juve and internationally with France. And now that the moaners got their way and he's gone, the midfield is worse than it has ever been.

I have no idea why I'm not over the moon thrilled about this as a real possibility (because I truly rate him and think he's amazing)...but I'm not over the moon thrilled about this as a real possibility. I have no idea why...maybe I need a muppet runway and this took way too fast.

I know that it’s best that he’s left, but these post suggesting he’s not a top player are hilarious given his achievements and standing in the game.

Edit: and the suggestion he needed a more specialist midfield partner was rife whilst he was winning the World Cup (and scoring and assisting in the finals, if I remember right).

It’s because you think the deal will break down. I’m in the same boat. Just don’t think it will actually happen.

They are right he isn't a top player anymore but he definitely was one at some point, the posts about him being shit though are hilariously dumb.

RM will be on the right side of this, they know when it's the right to get rid of players, something we used to be very good at.

I'm not getting excited about any transfer until I see some fecker signing a bit of paper or a picture of them in the shirt.

The de Jong drama has exhausted my muppetry.

And I'll never have that recipe agaaaaain!

That's on him. You just can't afford not to see our glaring weakness. It was quite clear we needed a new midfield . If it took 3 months to know.about it for a coach like him , then I do have worries.
I am worried about this. If I can see this, why did it take him 2 games to figure this out?

Because this deal could fall through. And also the Glazers are still around which is the bigger issue.
