Four more signings: Sommer, Gusto, De Jong and Antony would be nice.

Gusto Varane Martinez Malacia
Casemiro, De Jong
Antony Eriksen Sancho

One of the 4 positions is a forward. What other positions we are looking to fill according to this?
It's been reported from Burt (I think) that we want a CM, a versatile forward, A RB and a goalkeeper.

Antony
FDJ
Sommer
Malo Gusto

Becks wasn’t exciting, couldn’t beat his man and had no great tricks. But his crossing and dead ball ability were exceptional.
Ronaldo & Nani were our last really exciting right wingers.

Different position though.

That's the crucial bit.

Not which of the two is better. But what position do we want to fill. If it's RW then Gakpo is a non starter.
I haven't seen enough of either to have an opinion. That's fair enough so.

Would be the end of the Diallo and Pellestri experiments so..

Ok im back on the uber muppet train, lets go 4-5 signings!

I'm actually happy with Martinez, Antony and Cas. Three aggressive players plus the lad with great attitude, Malacia.

It's crazy we need more and quality ones, but we really need more so let's go with it indeed.

A pinpoint undefendable cross leading to basically an open goal is more exciting to me personally than a winger beating a man.

Does Gakpo not have better starts when it comes to goals and assists than Antony? Plus he's big & strong, which would be good for us to have. And less than half the price?
He's big, but not that strong himself. He had advantage for Dutch league. PSV from what I see is a more physical team in Dutch league, so his service is more useful. However, those things may not transit well in PL. There will be defenders as big, and stronger that turn his size against him. We don't have that physical attacker to attack his service.

They were only 4 goals apart in Dutch league and Gakho scored a penalty, so there wasn't much difference between them. Antony has that acceleration, balance to cut inside across the defensive line around the edge of the box, and the technique to put the ball past blocker into far corner. That is something can transit to all top leagues in theory. Many goals Antony scored has been this this kind of goal at the edge of the box.

I haven't watch Gakpo as much in comparison, so from little that I saw, Gakpo is less direct. More relied on movement, working with teammate to create space.

Make no sense signing both because with Antony signing, Sancho would be moved to the left wing. Gakpo is currently not an out out CF. You don't spend 40-50mil then teaching him a new role.

This is coming from Duncan Castles, who I wouldn't take too seriously unless Antony and his camp have some sort of a connection with Mendes or United/Ajax are using him as an intermediary (both unlikely).

Spoiler alert, Ajax are not going to win the Champions League so why would he give a feck about playing those handful of games

To be fair, that is a nothing article from Castles. He doesn't even have any info from Ajax's, United's, or Antony's end. Castles himself isn't technically banned as he does have his connections with Mendes, and in your case, you provided the source. The only problem on your end was that you posted 4 Tweets, which exceeds the max. number of Tweets to post. Still, it's weird that the original Times Sport Tweet's allowed but not the Tweet from UtdDistrict (even if it does have a link to the original article).

Tier 2:

The two keepers: Matej Kovar and Nathan Bishop

FYI: United involve four goalkeepers in their first-team training
