Any injury updates?
I hope both Rashford and Martial are fit for this one.

Martinez has chopped down that tree before. I wouldn't worry.Stop Haaland scoring and we have a shot.
Ruud's highest goals total in the league was 25 (23 in his debut season). Haaland is at 11 already.Wow........overhype much??!!
Ruud has proven himself at the very highest levels, both domestically at internationally, something, and he has the medals to back it up, both of which Haaland does not, hence why Ruud is by far the better striker.
Ruud has more Premier League goals, & more Champions League goals, so let's just stop with the overhyping of Haaland, "he is on target for this or that" etc, until he has actually done so, then it is all just fantasy talk, not reality talk.
I am just saying the hype that Haaland will definitely end up with 60, 70 or 100 goals this session is waaayyyyy over the top.Ruud's highest goals total in the league was 25 (23 in his debut season). Haaland is at 11 already.
Citing a cumulative total is also strange given that we are comparing someone who played over 200 matches in English football and another who has played 10.
That's not what you were saying. You said that Ruud was a much better striker. There isn't much to suggest thats the case. Even if someone has Van Nistrelrooy ahead, the chasm wouldn't be that wide, given Haaland's scoring ratio. He might well break Ruud's highest goals total in a league season (25) by February.I am just saying the hype that Haaland will definitely end up with 60, 70 or 100 goals this session is waaayyyyy over the top.
Ruud was also a predator in the box, and lived to do naff all but score goals, he lived and breathed goals, so we shouldn't be getting ahead of ourselves with thinking this or that will definitely happen.
There has to be some benefit for all that time without football.Any injury updates?

Have a great time mate, hope it's a cracker.Just wanna see a victory, 4th time i'll be in the away end yet to see us win.
Whereby I agree with how insane Haaland is as a talent, and the winter break helping him but I wouldnt go as far to say City are unchallenged. Haaland will most likely break the 32 goal record, I dont think he will hit 55, but 40 is very possible. Haaland does have an injury or two in him and he always tends to start the season on fire. I expect his ratio to drop, maybe increase in Jan again but then level off. The real problem City have is if he gets injured, they are screwed. Also add in that teams are still learning Haaland in this system, there will be a time in the future where teams and players can defend better against him. Right now though, he is running riot in the league because teams do not know how to handle him. Also, that goal in the champions league was ridiculous, but get goal side of him quicker, that won't happen.I'm sorry, but I just can't believe I am reading this. It is highly likely Haaland will continue breaking records. He is on target for 55 in the league. When did RvN get those sort of numbers. Dixie Deans record may go. There was a Luton game in the 1930s where a striker got 10 goals, that may go (when do City play Bournemouth for the reverse game of the 4:0 one recently?).
The thing is, what happens this season to him should have an asterix by it anyway because quite uniquely he will get a month long winter break - most other top players will be at the World Cup in November, but he won't.
It is such a shame United bought Ronaldo last year when they heard City might go in for him and/or Tottenham wouldn't sell Kane to them, because with Haaland at City, it has messed up the season before its really even got going. We are all really playing for second, third or forth and deep down everyone knows it.
How unlucky would we have to be to have an international break and still neither of them are back.United put some training pics up - had Varane and Malacia back from International duty but, no sign of Rashford or Martial in them. Does not look promising unless keeping their status locked down.
If neither are available, then not only does it limit our game plan options but, also just plain having options to change the game. If Ronaldo is going to have one of those spectacular games, this would be a good one.
Oh christ.Michael Oliver the ref
Lost any little hope left in this game.
Not quite sure why so much emphasis is being put on who a photographer takes photos of.....United put some training pics up - had Varane and Malacia back from International duty but, no sign of Rashford or Martial in them. Does not look promising unless keeping their status locked down.

Usually the pictures from training are a good source of when certain injured players are back in training with the group. So I am sorry, didn't mean to put emphasis on some random photographer and put you off by it.Not quite sure why so much emphasis is being put on who a photographer takes photos of.....
Definitely in ETH's playbookBruno as a false 9 if Rashford and Martial are out? Could probably go with Casameiro, McTominay and Eriksen in midfield then. Sancho and Antony out wide.
Yeah frustratingly it looks that wayJeez! Tony is still out?
What sort of injury stops you playing this long? it has to be pretty serious but they aren't letting that on.Yeah frustratingly it looks that way
Yeah there has been no update in agesWhat sort of injury stops you playing this long? it has to be pretty serious but they aren't letting that on.
It just seems never ending.
