Seems to be an appetite for this so I've made a club. I'm assuming there's enough of us interested that we'd be able to get a group of enough together to play a game.

I think we agreed minimum 4 online to play a game and represent the club before but happy for ideas to be shared. I've also given us a custom badge and kit instead of the usual Utd one we go for. Happy for ideas for that as well as I've just quickly put it together.

I can make others managers too so they can customise, accept new players, etc...

It's called RedCafe Utd with abbreviation RCU. Not sure what else needs to be searched to join but let me know and I'll accept you. Also what position you'd like to play.

I currently play as a CM but would like to swap to an attacker at some point. Happy to change game to game though.

I should be able to play usually in the evenings from 8pm, or random times at weekends. Sometimes in the day like today when work is dead.

I tried playing FIFA22 (thankfully through PS+) but couldn't get past the start screen as it wanted me to login to some EA Play(?) shite and despite having an account the login failed every time so unfortunately no point in getting 23 while the game won't let me play it. Good luck though.

The EA Account Link thing is a common issue, EA are absolutely useless at resolving it.

It also keeps crashing for me after 50% of the games. It shows the best players and then no screen loads after that. So buggy.

I remember doing this years back with some of you lot, I used to hide at LB and touch the ball about 3 times a game. Would love to get involved but I will be useless at ever being on.

Not sure if I will be getting FIFA this year – I just downloaded the trial and the game felt really poor to me.

Since Pro Clubs doesn't have any cross play, I'm not sure if I will be able to join. I only have the PS4 version for now (I didn't buy it) in order to play Pro Clubs with another group. If this is for the PS5, then sadly, I won't be able to join.

Cross play is in the pipeline, but don't think it exists yet.

The wider question is who's going to set up on the ps5 in the first instance?

I'm less active than I was back in the day, so happy for someone else to do the leg work and deal with transfer requests etc :lol:

It will be an EA Origin account. It’s seperate to a PSN account. It’s pretty straight forward to set up. You just need to create an Origin account and link it to your fifa via the game.

Just read through the FIFA thread with all the talk about Pro Clubs…

Think I’m going to have to get this despite what I felt about the trial. People saying that Pro Clubs feels better sounds good.

Loved playing on the wing back in the day so will follow the ‘chalk on the boots’ path :)

Gutted to see no cross play between PS4 and PS5. Might have to treat myself this Xmas as all the guys I played with years ago have moved to PS5.

This has been common for a few years. For some reason clubs don’t appear even when you search the exact way the name is spelt.

We always had to get players to add us as a friend so they could see the club in their list of friends clubs. EA bugs.

Yep – that worked :)

Took a few mins for the club to show up after had added you as a friend, but all good now :)

Could you sort it so I could edit things like the stadium etc? :angel:
