I’m sick to death of us putting together any meaningful football when we’ve barely got any of the game left.

Such a shite mentality.

We look like a 2011 Barcelona tribute act. So many chances to shoot not taken as we try and walk the ball in. Dalot in stoppage time. What was he thinking?

I’ve given him time but Sancho just offers nothing. Antony is a bit hot and cold but at least he can get into games. Sancho is just ok the fringe every time I see him.

Rashford did well when he came on but you have to be scoring that … oh well at least it’s a cleansheet

Should've won that but didn't create anything til later on so 0-0 probably fair. Dominated the possession and improved massively the 2nd half in terms of controlling in their half. Martial is vital for us though, makes such a difference and we would've won this with him. We are basically just playing without a striker this season as Ronaldo is irrelevant at this stage, and Rashford is a winger.

Defensively can't be upset, they only had the set piece header rebound chance which kind of just happens and wasn't a mistake or anything.

Going forward was frustrating, we'd get into good positions and then players would try to force it to Ronaldo or would just feck up easy touches. Thought Sancho did well but was in and out of the game. Fred was really shit on the ball. Antony's final ball was horrible. Casemiro and Shaw our 2 best IMO.

Should've had a clear pen though, so that was annoying.

Some really odd passing choices by us towards the end of the game too. Dalot not shooting was bizarre.

Shit finishing let us down again. Craig Pawson is a disgrace too. Looked like ten Hag had a go at him at the end. Good on him.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.
Played well 2nd half. Fred and rashford missed absolutely sitters. 1st half was appalling though. 5 minutes for a game they time wasted at least 10 minutes away is a joke - happens every game and the authorities do feck all.

Who's booing a draw against Newcastle? Not the ideal result but hardly a disaster.
Didn’t watch the match. But Newcastle have been pretty good this season. Drew to City, regularly score 3 or more a match.

Isn’t a clean sheet against them a positive relative to where we’ve been for the past so many years and even the first two matches of this season?

I only managed to watch the last 10 mins and from what I saw Rashford proved why he will never be a main man for us. Sancho looked lacklustre as usual and Fred was a joker.

Didnt see it. How did we do? Stats 62 percent possession and 15 attempts on goals. Should we have won?
Yeah probably. It was a draw, but with just enough to be satisfied that the team are still progressing

That was an absolutely abysmal performance. Again. Honestly, I watch Championship teams play better than the dull football we play. Seriously thinking if it's worth coming down to watch this shite anymore.

We dominated most of the game but we can't convert. We can point fingers at anything but at the end of the day we don't have a player who can convert chances and be a threat in the box. Ronaldo is done and without Martial we'll struggle badly.

Could and should have won, composure was good, didn't give them a sniff in the second half, but lack of proper striker and to many bad decisions by our players, cost us. Overall not a bad game, but certainly a bad result. Still good to see progress, as we're playing much better. No need to waste to many words on the ref, atrocious.

How shit was the ref? I swear every time I see this game ref a game (regardless if its us or any other team), he's genuinely terrible

No one can tell me that we're all that much better under ten Hag (right now) than we were under Ole -- the difference right now just being the replacement of Maguire with Martinez (which is a significant upgrade). Our play still is just as unimaginative as it's always been.
Nice reactive post.

This lack of urgency is pathetic. De Gea walking to take a goal kick at 85 mins. At level terms this team has been happy to walk through any game for 88 minutes per my very calculated calculations.

We can't create chances with Ronaldo on the field and can't finish them when he's off.

Hate all Burnley connected players, Wood diving for free kicks and Pope timewasting will never die.

Bollocks to all that. I agree he was pony but it's nonsense. We've only ourselves to blame
We would have won the game if not for his calls, which were objectively wrong. We didn't play well enough, but the ref is self-evidently the reason we didn't win because he made incorrect calls that directly and demonstrably robbed us of the win. So no, bollocks to none of that. It's a fact.

Newcastle diving, committing tactical fouls and time wasting from minute 1 with the referee happy to oblige them. It's too bad we didn't get the treatment Liverpool got where the referee just let play continue until they scored.

Only Man United looked to win that game especially 2nd half. Newcastle came for the draw and got it. Eddie Howe in fairness has them well organised and difficult to beat down.

Fred and Rashford have to score those opportunities created for them. Lack of clinical edge will likely cost this United team reach their objectives this season.

Can’t wait until we’re playing some of the lesser teams. The way it’s fallen with postponements it feels like every week we’re playing someone good or visiting a tricky away ground in Everton’s case. It’s shit luck for us.

We need Eriksen.

They said Rashford was ill, which can be the only excuse as to why you would start Ronaldo over him. Ronaldo has become the black hole of our attack. We bought the most left footed player in all of world football and do zero overlapping on the right side.
