I met him at a grocery store in Huddersfield once. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off.

When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
Wow. He sounds like a grade-A supercunt. What a shame. I also heard Jenna Coleman is a bit of a cow, which is also disappointing. I get being grumpy at times, but going out of your way to be a prick is horrible. Yet some just ever so slightly bigger stars, like Hanks and Clooney, are apparently sweethearts.

Conversely, I met Daniel Mays in an Apple store, told him I loved his work, and he was very humble and cool.

PS: I AM STUPID (but the Mays story is true.)

Never seen or heard of him before, but so long as he can pull off the humour and nail the serious scenes, all the while portraying a 1000 year old time travelling, genius alien who experiences enough horror for a lifetime every Tuesday but continues with his mission of being conscientious and virtuous, he's fine by me.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.
Tennant and Tate confirmed for the anniversary special before the series. Will generate massive buzz and having a new doctor carrying an anniversary special on their own will have been a tough ask. I reckon Jodie will regenerate into Tennant.

Give Paul McGann a full length TV special already. He got shafted with the clusterfeck that was the movie and then a measly 7 minute video for the 50th, despite killing it in audio form for years.

Would that be degenerate if she reverts to a previous reincarnation?

That would be pretty interesting if it happens there would need to be a discussion reason to bring the 10th Doctor back.

So Rose has been recast as a trans girl? I wonder if they are going to try going down a multiverse route to get rid of that awful timeless children shit? Multiverse seems to be the new asteroid, so makes sense I guess.

We don't know if that's what her character will be yet

There already is a multiverse in Dr Who to be fair.

Isn't it more likely this Rose will be the child of Donna and the name Rose is some kind of memory slip bringing Donna into play?

Could be that DT returns in his alternative universe form rather than as the Doctor?

Lots of great possibilities..... until they screw it up.

Why would Tennant’s appearance need such a creative explanation when they’ve pulled the old ‘taken from his timeline’ number to team Doctors together in the past?

So Neil Patrick Harris was announced as part of the 60th anniversary cast yesterday and from the announcement photo (which seems to be original and not taken from anything else he's been in) and a filming location in Bristol seen today it seems likely he's playing...

some form of the Celestial Toymaker.

So regeneration time almost upon us. What's our thoughts on who we will see, Tennant, Gatwa or finally Kris Marshall?

Have not been a fan of Chibnall at all and can't imagine what he has lined up for this.

I know the new Doctor is the choice of Russell Davies but wonder how much say he will have on how they actually do the regeneration

I've detested Dr who for many years, and now that John bishop is a cast member, I really hate it.

William Russell's cameo has to mark the longest gap between an actor playing a part in TV history, right?

McGann finally getting actual, non-stuck on iPlayer, TV time as the Doctor was an absolute joy too. It'd have been niche as feck but I'd have loved if they cut to India Fisher during the reunions but have the hologram fail so she only got McGann's voice.

Hated the Chibnall era but he pulled out all the stops there at the end of it. Loved the call backs, Credit to him for what he has done with The Master and God only knows what happens now

I certainly don't envy whoever ends up taking over from Sacha Dhawan, he's been absolutely sublime. Hopefully RTD gives them a chance and leaves the Master alone for a couple of series.

I mean for the Rasputin dance scene alone he pretty much topped every other Master

Jodie was fantastic but always felt a lot of the episodes werent great material. (less said about the Timeless Child nonsense the better). Rosa is an all time great episode though.

Not sure why theres a reason for spoiler tags considering its not likely a Doctor Who fan will be in here before watching the episode but just in case:
I cheered when McGann appeared.

Absolutley hated this version of The Master and glad to (hopefully) see the back of him.

The 10th Doctor and Donna being back (yet) again is a bit meh anniversary episode or not, but anyway. The irony of lots of running in the trailer....

Did anyone see how Bradley Walsh got there?
I must have missed it.
A fun episode though. She could have been really good with a proper writer and without all the woke bollocks.

I thought it was one of his best episodes - sure none of it really made any sense as always and he still has no clue how to pace anything but it was entertaining and I thought Jodie, Yas and the master put in really good performances. I did find it fairly bizarre that there was more emotional payoff from the other two doctors saying goodbye to their companions than his own doctor saying goodbye to hers. I think that sums up the Chibnal era - he never really seemed to give a flying feck about the characterisation of his own doctor. It was a good enough finale though.

However, the post regeneration scene and 30 second clip of the next episode looked a million times better than anything we’ve been served up in this era…thank feck they’re back.

Really really poor finish. Badly timed, made little sense and criminal misuse of the most iconic baddies in the shows history.

Let’s hope RTD can fix this.

It’s Doctor Who. It’s literally always been “woke”. It’s like complaining that Rage Against the Machine turned political.

Very glad she's gone, she wasn't even close to the best actor in her own final episode, vastly outperformed by you know who. The writing is terrible sure but she couldn't pull of simple scenes.

No you can see it shift gears when they started this doctor off - they have introduced varied assistants for some time but this doctor's actual stories were preachy and unlike previous incarnations.
