He always was, in the CL finals it was players like Ramos and Bale that scored and when he made it 3-1 he would run off like he just won it.
I still remember 2008, Wayne didn't miss his penalty, but you did Ronaldo, then all cameras on him at final whistle weeping on the floor.

In the end it doesn't matter how legitimate his criticisms of the club are. Taking part in a public interview expose mid-season is tantamount to an attempt to derail the morale of the playing squad who have worked their asses off to build something this season. It's a stone cold slap in the face. A selfish act of sabotage from an individual who cannot bear the notion that a club can recover better without him than with him.

It's time for meaningless quotes, are they making a pinterest collection for their bathroom walls at this stage?

First quoting Picasso now talking about animals, Piers is dying to be relevant.

He could easily just text him, but no tag him on social media to try and get likes.

How i would laugh my ass off if he was to go to arsenal and obviously destroy the harmony in the team and derail their season and watch piers blame arteta whilst worshipping a misfiring Ronaldo, it would be twice that ronaldo would be doing man City a favour
No chance. Arsenal show all the signs of being competently run these days. They have relentlessly pursued a policy of ridding the dressing room of prima-donnas and bringing in young hard-working players. One might almost describe it as a cultural reset.

I actually wonder if Ronaldo has a personality disorder like Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD).

He speaks like one. It used to seem he was arrogant in his ability but he was the best, now it just seems like he's a bit of a twat.

He did say some things that the club didn't evolve internally (fair) but his digs at ETH and at Rooney were uncalled for honestly.

Honestly he's a little coward because this interview is released because he's gone in January.
Agreed

The Jacuzzi hasn’t been updated  you know a lot of this seems similar to the George Best disputes in the 70’s. Although he had some points (about the club not buying well and the reasons for the decline) the reality is he isn’t the player he was but his ego is even bigger. Time to just get rid and move on.

I get that Ronaldo was something special before, always arrogant, but special, i also get that he actually did "okay" last season, but when he is on the pitch for this Manchester, it is not like he gets anything to work with, the whole team keeps serving him 100% chances, he has a few in every game, some time it has been just insane to see how much Bruno TRIES to make him look good.

He is done, he is still in good shape, but he has lost his edge/speed and maybe even hunger.

I get that people in general are still not happy about where Man Utd. is, but they are on a upwards curve, they play better ball, and they are a bitter team without Ronaldo than with, so he just needs to be somewhere else.

I’m surprised people are so angry at Ronaldo.

While it was crossing the line criticizing ETH, you can see why he said what he said. He is trying to leave on a free. That’s the only way he has any chance of finding a decent club to sign him this year.

what’s more worrying for me is the revelations of just how bad the club is run and how we are stuck in a time zone of 20 years ago with no evolution. It also worries me more that the younger players have been accused of being dismissive and not open to mentorship.

No doubt he was talking about Greenwood.

Those comments hurt me the most rather than anything he said about the manager or senior officials or rooney etc.

Ronaldo needs to leave and WILL leave. Anyone who watches us already knew since last year. He was only a stop gap.

But moving into the future and actually having hope of us getting back to the top? It seems like it’s still far away with the infrastructure and youth being so below standard.

As far as I know that quote is incorrect, it's not how it works for Lions. A tiger would have been a better reference.
Tiger's are much cooler than Lions anyway.

Well thats one hell of a mentorship. In how not to act towards the club.

Got exactly what he deserved there, tried to embarrass her on TV for not being "smart" but showed himself up in several ways.
Can see why him and Ronaldo are friends though.
That's feckin pathetic. He's actually gone down in my estimation which I didn't think was possible, the odious twat.

Why are you surprised? ETH is the Manchester United trying to bring the club back to life. An employee of the club publicly criticizing him is appalling behavior.

We might just have the best teenager in the World in our hands, after recently producing a World class teenager in Greenwood. What other club can currently claim that?

“So below standard” my arse. The club also started major renovations to the training ground last summer (2021).

But what exactly is he on about? World class facilities back when he was 21/22 don't just suddenly become unusable. Anyway, seems we are in the process of a major renovation.
And he is lying anyway, unless he is somehow unable to see pretty big buildings that have been built after his departure or if he can't spot that he was training in a different gym or sitting in revamped dressing rooms.

The Paddy Power tweet is clearly a shite joke for feck sake.

It's worrying how so many of you are unsure if it's real or not.
