Beware though. The media will jump onto anything even taking something like this out of context just for clicks.
It’s no secret that Bruno and Ronaldo don’t have the greatest relationship as it is. They are colleagues. Bruno obviously respects Ronaldo greatly, but that’s about it.

Apologies if anyone has posted this. She really is clueless
No one with teeth as white as cocaine can speak any untruth. Her word with this set of gnashers must be as holy as the gospel. Just ask Klopp

. It hurts more because he means so much to us all ,
Speak for yourself mate. Been a lifelong Utd fan also and I think the guy is an arsehole. He had a couple of good seasons for us…one truly sensational one. But the air or inevitably at the time and the constant drama he brought with his “stay or go” antics meant I never really gave a shit about him. I got to watch a great player develop but so what…now watching Roy Keane go to war week in week out…that was Utd for me. Watching Eric creating magic and memories game after game…Jesus, players like McClair, McGrath, Hughes, Irwin, Vidic, Scholes, Giggs, Becks on and on and on…all meant more to me that this selfish prick. From day one he wanted to be the best in the world and wanted to do that at Real Madrid. Good luck to him. He achieved it - those other guys were just dying to play for Man Utd. Just like I did. How Ronaldo is idolised by anyone except children I will never know.

Most of the people who truly, genuinely have a problem with Ronaldo and his statements are United fans.

So, no - they will obviously NOT be the same people who will turn on ETH after a bad run (we've already had that, by the way). She doesn't know what the feck she's talking about.
We could still go on a bad run. At the moment we are fragile. I want us to stick by a manager through whatever the next few years throws at us. We have had 4 managers in a season and a half you don't build a club doing that. I don't always agree with ETH and there will be times where I'm cussing up a storm but we need to support a manager to do the though rebuild job. It might as well be Eric.

She's one the biggest Ronaldo fanbois around. Insufferable to listen to
Its her unusually white teeth. Blinded by the Ronaldo bias coming off it. Can't see him for the narcissist that he is.

This was the circus I and many others were desperate to see feck-off in the summer.

Do you follow anything other than Ronaldo-channels?
I don’t follow most of these pages. I search “Ronaldo” in the twitter search bar and these are usually the posts with most interactions that come up. CR7 timeline makes more Ronaldo related tweets than any other page I would assume.

Anyways….. what is happening is not nice, not ideal and does leave a sour taste. It hurts more because he means so much to us all , just like a girl you love is always going hurt you more then a girl you don’t care for.
Jesus, mate. Speak for yourself.

Ronaldo is an utter cnut. Which is a bit of a shame, but we all knew it well before this.

We're not in shock here, we're just commenting on the obvious fact that he's a cnut - which is what you do when an obvious cnut does something obviously cnutish.

You belong to a subset of United fans who have treated Ronaldo as if he were Cantona or Charlton. You don't represent the rest of us.

It's not only statistics, it feels this way too of course. We conceded 6 vs City without Ronaldo so conceding less without him despite that game is interesting stat.

It's sad how everything ends. Even with his decline this season, he'd be surely getting a farewell or something, which would be enjoyable for him and for the fans. But now it's ruined. Pierce Morgan must be loving it, the way he's giving little clips of the interview every evening until the whole interview is out must feel great for him, on personal level and as an Arsenal fan.

Ronnie loves United
yeah, I think that's where you're wrong mate. The first time he left, he said he was a slave. At Real, he used us as a way to get a new and improved contract several times. And right now ... well, let's just say the things he's done are pretty unprecedented in terms of being unprofessional and disrespectful to the club. How anybody can come to conclusion that "Ronnie loves United" is beyond me.

His legacy has increased because he criticized Ronaldo and Ronaldo acted like a bitchboy? Remind yourself who is the all-time leading scorer of Manchester United?
People are appreciating Rooney more than before after this episode, unquestionably. Obviously he was already a club legend but there was always some love loss there with some people. I mean an appreciation thread was created in the wake of this Ronaldo fiasco.

Can you read body language and the fact English is not his main language ?

He said

“They didn’t believe me”

Then piers said “they didn’t believe you?”

And he said “they did but..*then he makes a clear facial gesture” before sayijrb”I’m never going to put football over my family health”

From the way he said it and his facial expressions about it it seems they granted him the time off but didn’t think he was telling the truth due to the transfer speculation at the time which they certainly believed was the real reason.

If you just read quotes without watching the interview you can’t see his clear body language when he says “they did but didn’t “ meaning they doubted him

Which he rightfully and correctly should find disrespectful after he literally had just lost a child at the time and now the other was sick.

I get you lot want too be right and he’s the villain right now so he’s automatically wrong. My only issue SO FAR with this interview personably is the timing.
you are hilarious. When someone says something negative about your boy, it’s all “this is all conjecture” and “we aren’t body language experts” but when it’s you and your hero worship them suddenly those things are a-ok. Your liberal use of the word “clear/clearly” when it suits you is masterful. like I said, hilarious, and doesn’t fool anybody. You’re welcome to frolic in your delusions of course mate!:D

Any guesses on what new 'revelations' Cristiano will complain about tonight ?
My guess is the weather. Maybe the Balon d'or journalists.

It’s very sad to see the perception / view many posters here have of ronaldo now.

I’m 35, life long United fan and without shadow of doubt ronaldo has been my favourite footballer. Watching us in 2007-2010 was my favourite and most enjoyable period watching us play and Ronaldo was largely responsible for this.

When he left to Real I was devastated but I understood why he did, always hoped he would come back. I was so happy to see how he further developed and I always vouch that was because his initial development under SAF and being surrounded good role models. If he went to Real from Sporting he maybe never developed into player he became, maybe he would of…. Who knows ???

Anyways….. what is happening is not nice, not ideal and does leave a sour taste. It hurts more because he means so much to us all , just like a girl you love is always going hurt you more then a girl you don’t care for.

Messi left Barca on bad terms, lampard left Chelsea and joined city on bad terms, Torres left Liverpool and joined Chelsea on bad terms, he’ll even Keane left us on bad terms. These are players who are legends for there clubs and are still treated as legends. Let’s not end our story with Ronnie on a bad note. The guy is a legend, he does love United but unfortunately that relationship is no longer sustainable, it doesn’t mean we can’t still love him and respect him.

Ronnie loves United, he has made a mistake but don’t let it cloud the happiness and joy he has brought us. He is still human and humans make mistakes !!!
Quick question… why does it bother you how other United fans feel about him? I’m genuinely interested.

Rio has finally seen the light.
I'll wait till the interview is broadcast. He may change his opinion and feel sorry for Ronaldo.

Rio seemed to fall short of saying Ronaldo was unprofessional to give an interview.
Instead he conveniently keeps repeating that the club has no choice now and there is no way back now.

Yeah, all he said he did it mildly. But at least he said he can't defend him.

Images of what Ronaldo was served by the chef, disgraceful

You wake up in the morning after 15 pints and tell me that won't get you back on your feet (well, that and half a bottle of vodka, but whatever).

Anyway - let's be fair: Ronaldo didn't actually have a go at the kitchen staff. He said they (or some of them, I dunno) were the same, but he also said he liked 'em.
