Wow that's the complete opposite of what she said on the kelly and wrighty show

edit:

here's the segment
Yeah but during that segment you can see her trying desperately hard to keep her mask from slipping.

Can you read body language and the fact English is not his main language ?

He said

“They didn’t believe me”

Then piers said “they didn’t believe you?”

And he said “they did but..*then he makes a clear facial gesture” before sayijrb”I’m never going to put football over my family health”

From the way he said it and his facial expressions about it it seems they granted him the time off but didn’t think he was telling the truth due to the transfer speculation at the time which they certainly believed was the real reason.

If you just read quotes without watching the interview you can’t see his clear body language when he says “they did but didn’t “ meaning they doubted him

Which he rightfully and correctly should find disrespectful after he literally had just lost a child at the time and now the other was sick.

I get you lot want too be right and he’s the villain right now so he’s automatically wrong. My only issue SO FAR with this interview personably is the timing.
Talk about defending the indefensible.

He lied about the training facilties, couldn't make up his mind over whether he was believed or not and aimed totally unnecessary attacks against former teammates. Everything he's said in that interview is wrong, not just the timing as you're trying to convince people.

Take a step back, take off the Ronaldo specs and you'll see just what a prick he's being.

He just isn`t very bright. At all. Or just a prick of epic proportions. Or both. So little makes sense.

He loves the club and fans but he is genuinly pissed when the team and fans is having one of the best nights in ages at Old trafford. He wants no part of it and wants to go home before everyone else and eat ice cream and feel sorry for himself. Right.
The manager plays him despite him being shite, and also gets to captain the team, for no other reason than him being Ronaldo. But he is disrespected. Right. The club pays him more money than any other club would do, but he is disrespected. Mmm okay.

Should have just kept Becks instead.

He has no friends.
People with a narcissistic personality disorder don't make friends, they use people to their interests and never make any significant emotional connection with anybody.
You people are pushing it.... Ronaldo is routinely seen with Ricardo Regufe, Miguel Paixao and Jose Semedo since he was a teenager... Is 3 close friends enough to prove he's not a psychopath?

Both is probably correct answer. Agree with rest of your post as well, well said.

And Cristiano doesn't care about club's infrastrucure and Glazers, he has advisors around him who surely told him about the whole situation at United. He's just mentioning those things to fit his agenda.

Speak for yourself mate. Been a lifelong Utd fan also and I think the guy is an arsehole. He had a couple of good seasons for us…one truly sensational one. But the air or inevitably at the time and the constant drama he brought with his “stay or go” antics meant I never really gave a shit about him. I got to watch a great player develop but so what…now watching Roy Keane go to war week in week out…that was Utd for me. Watching Eric creating magic and memories game after game…Jesus, players like McClair, McGrath, Hughes, Irwin, Vidic, Scholes, Giggs, Becks on and on and on…all meant more to me that this selfish prick. From day one he wanted to be the best in the world and wanted to do that at Real Madrid. Good luck to him. He achieved it - those other guys were just dying to play for Man Utd. Just like I did. How Ronaldo is idolised by anyone except children I will never know.
Exactly how I feel, and have always felt about him even in his pomp. I'd add players such as Evra, and Rafael to the players you mention. Ronaldo was never among my liked players.

I'll start campaigning in all social media not to terminate Ronaldo's contract and urging the club to alienate him from the club until the end of his contract. That'll be the most satisfying outcome.

Yup and that's why I think people who are suggesting that Piers has played some sort of 4d chess on CR and set him up/ fed him lines are off base.

There's no way CRs representatives weren't micromanaging this.

The irritating thing about all this is suddenly you can't say "Meh. Dont care" without being accused of changing our tunes, though some of us never saw Ronaldo as some kind of favorite player.

Nah, I watched Rio's Vibe with 5 and he still tried his best to defend his mate. That article is a bit misleading.
Ya he went on some weird rant about "Before this interview, there was bad communication. After this interview, there is no way Ronaldo can go back to United"

He never says Ronaldo was wrong and unprofessional about speaking like this in media.

And Rio may change tune again. Who knows.

Was a weird one he said there's no defending him and he can't come back from this but then still tried to defend him by talking shit about Ten Hag's communication, hate to say it but Carragher was spot on with what he was saying

Doing too much mate.

Bruno himself has taken the liberty out of his time to come out and comment on Joao Mario’s statements agreeing with him and sarcastically saying

“Stop Joao, now the newspapers won’t have anything to write about”

In fact a majority of Portuguese news outlets and talk shows all back him and agree with him. I reckon his national team teammates are no different including bruno and dalot.
That is all PR. As if any major Portuguese footballing newspaper would criticize Ronaldo. They know who their readers are.

I highly doubt most players "back him". Specially his United team-mates. They just have absolutely nothing to gain from going against him, why would they would otherwise.

He'll be flailing his arms all mad 5 minutes into the first game at the first failed pass to him in the box. This will be just like South Africa. He's no captain.

It does seem like it. Even Messi seems friends with Neymar and Suarez. Ronaldo doesn't seem to have any close friends.
Yea it's been quite telling that over the past week he lashed out at Rooney for a very fair honest opinion and Benzema revealed that he hadn't received any congratulatory call or messages from him yet regarding his B'Dor win.

yup. He doesn't have to walk on eggshells like our ex-players who were teammates with Ronaldo, so it's not that surprising that he can offer a more objective and sensible take.
