“Have you ever seen a later flag than that?!?” Has John Hartson not been watching football for the past 3 years?

Do Denmark really need 3 CBs against Tunisia? Feel like one of Damsgard or Y.Poulssen up front might have given them more scoring options.

Also this game is making me remember that despite what's been said about this World Cup, it is an Asian world cup and the Central Asian/Arab and North African teams are getting a lot of home support. Must be nice for those teams.

Great to see Tunisia having a real go at Denmark, too many times the lower teams come to park the bus nowadays and only start playing once losing

No doubt that Saudi win gave them the extra confidence they needed

I don't see anything out of the ordinary about an old English guy enjoying an Argentinian failure.

Falklands, Hand of God, Simeone making a meal of Becks being a bit of a girl... The world isn't just about Cristiano and Messi.
Nothing wrong with old English guy enjoying Argie failure.
But, preety sure PM (not Prime Minister) is not thinking about all the things you mentioned, it is about his "mate". Very naive to think it is not all about CR37 and LM35 for him.
I hope his "best friend" loses game(s) so we can all se how he will defends him. Not to mention army of Messi fans being all over it. Could be a good laugh.

It would be injustice to watch that beaut of a goal without Arabic commentary
Have no idea what he is saying, but something along the lines of "Messi, Maradona, Eva Peron - your boys took one hell of a beating" would be great :)

Were people hating on the Saudi team before the game? 'to all the haters, be humbled' seems slightly random.

This new extra time thing is making it much harder for underdogs

The keeper injury only lasted 4 minutes, but the ref added like an extra 7.. I counted btw

This is the greatness of sport. I love Messi but what an upset.

I was predicting 5-0 to 7-0 for Argentina.

I am travelling and jet lagged. So skipped the match. Could not believe it when I woke up.

There's tens of thousands of Tunisians living in Qatar. Explains why it feels like a home match.
Well, that explains it. I wondered if the World Cup being in Qatar was more amenable as an extended family trip to those from muslim countries.

A bit shite for the Danes, mind. What have they done to get booed like that?

Tunisia look good. I'm confused why so few of their players are at decent clubs

Not sure I'd describe a team playing defensively and time wasting all game as a "win for football" but fair enough.
Yes, football won. Some of you guys get so sour when the underdogs throw the favourites in the bushes

Football is all about emotions not tactics my friend. It's a great Day for the whole Arabian world who love football just like you do in Europe.
