He would fare much better at United, I reckon.

We unfortunately live in the era of stats now, everything on the pitch can be quantified or so I'm told, I still don't know how xg is worked out.I don’t think people judging him by his stats are seeing the whole picture. If being used correctly, he offers so much more than his goals. Has brilliant mentality and work-rate, as well as good football brain. Would be a great addition for any top side.
I dunno, I think spurs were one of the few teams interested and we needed to get the deal done immediately. They were willing to just pay what we wanted so he was kind of forced by us both to get it done-ish.He’s technically decent, two footed, and works his bollocks off. That alone will make him a good option, but his lack of cutting edge is what holds him back. It’s a shame he’s gone from one terroristic football club to another, but nobody forced him to do so
Reckon Fergie would've signed himHe would fare much better in United, I reckon.
Sorry my mistake he cost 15m less.If you're using Essien's calculator he did
Would you consider him a good signing for 50m?Yeah he didn’t.
I just don’t get why you were inflating Richarlison fee and bringing up Nunez?Would you consider him a good signing for 50m?
I made the correction, the initial point was to bring up the fact people can think a striker new to the league with a 1 in 2 record was a poor signing but a striker who has yet to register a goal in the league for his new team, in a league he’s been in for 5 years gets the benefit of the doubt.I just don’t get why you were inflating Richarlison fee and bringing up Nunez?
You don't half talk some shite.I made the correction, the initial point was to bring up the fact people can think a striker new to the league with a 1 in 2 record was a poor signing but a striker who has yet to register a goal in the league for his new team, in a league he’s been in for 5 years gets the benefit of the doubt.
For what it’s worth I think he made a odd move to Spurs but I’m still not sure of his actual potential, would certainly have Jesus over him also.
I don’t even know who you are but I’ll take the complimentYou don't half talk some shite.
Yeah I agree. Seems a Fergie type of forwardReckon Fergie would've signed him
Reckon you’re rightReckon Fergie would've signed him
No, with Kane there he only plays as a LW or a RW, first as a sub, then displaced Son for a few games / played more once Kulesevski got injured. He plays well out wide too because he's fast and technically very good but do think playing as a 9 at a team like United would've suited him more. If Kane breaks down he'll get his shot I guess. The goals were great, but what impressed me was his work rate, and the discipline he played with.
For some reason I had this memory from the few times I watched him play of being petulant and wandering all over the pitch - a moment of promise then two or three “what is he doing”’s.
But for Brazil today, he was just super solid, super solid, then magnificent. I didn’t see any poor play mixed in at all. I have not watched enough Spurs to know whether he’s bedding in that well there or not. Does he ever get to play through the middle like that there?
I do love this thought process. Kane has been leaving Spurs for knocking ten years now.If he continues to play like that, he will leave spurs sooner than later.
In hindsight, yes.He made so much sense for us. Hard worker, flexible, strong, bit of finesse. Not the most prolific but he'd be damn handy. Ballsed it up.
I did say that when he was with us his best season was when Ancelotti played him as a CF behind DCL. I still think that's the best place for him, where he is able to float around and drop when he needs to. He's a nuisance for every team.Anyone who called it as him being a striker?
Unless Spurs use him upfront, he should be on to his agent as he’s going to be a hot commodity post- World Cup.
Fair play; I’ve got a post in here asking why Spurs even bought him, but he really looks a different player straight through the middle; someone we could’ve done with, even.I did say that when he was with us his best season was when Ancelotti played him as a CF behind DCL.
