Are the Moroccan defenders going to be back for the semis? How bad are the injuries?

I'm going to be honest, you can have different opinions of the man Ronaldo, but the football player? This is the first time I've really been emotional over a football match. This guy made me love football at the World Cup 2006, I was a kid back then but too see him go out like this, crying his heart out at the very last prize he needed in his wonderful football career. I was devastated.

Due to history people in North African countries (Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya) are in good part Arabs alongside the original ethnic groups like Berbers, Touaregs, etc... The official language as well as the spoken one in there is arabic, so yeah they're as much as Africans as Arabs.
Yes, Morocco is an amazigh country in first place.

Didn't even notice the ref today. He was the exact opposite of Lahoz yesterday, which is really what you want. Very solid performance.

It's stupid. We got beat fair and square. Watching our TV and vast majority of supporters blame Santos and the team.

It's bitterness from a truly inept performance.

I got it. He'll regret saying that after all this blow off.

Perfect time for Portugal to go out for us. Both Dalot and Bruno coming home in great form and uninjured.

What do you think of Costa? Weak keeping from him to concede that, right?

The Moors have taken back Spain and Portugal, will they be able to take all of France this time?

Bruno has been very good in the WC except today he reverted to bad Bruno. Too many wayward passes and the free kick to Bernado was the perfect example.

Can't believe Pepe. Heck I was surprised to see he was still playing, I thought he retired.

Ounahi and Amrabat really impressed.

Felix was also disappointing given his last match. Hakimi does that to players though.

I'm hoping for an England vs Argentina final.

You are on a Manchester United forum..

Talk about lack of self awareness..

Guess you missed what happened the last months.
Got it. He hurt some delicate feelings so he deserves to be sad. I'm glad he's as good as gone from United but can still appreciate someone who's driven by a commitment to excel --which United hasn't had in years.

Amazing for Morocco, heroic stuff. They've only conceded I think 1 goal in the entire tournament, right? They'll be hard to beat for anyone left now.
They've lost half of their defense though which was their greatest strength. Still an incredible achievement and who knows? England would be a better match for them than France.

Same here. I remember the Euro 2004 CR17, with plasters covering his earrings and his slick hairstyle. The speedy step overs and the pace! That's what got me into football and I've grown up watching Ronaldo win every single thing there is to win. It was crazy seeing his raw emotional side, and unfortunate its seen often on international duty.

Another overrated player along with Felix, Dias, Silva etc.

We will win nothing with this current crop of Benfica academy players.

When we won vast majority came from Sporting academy. Now we will see what these players are made of.
