I’m not going to waste my time making lists for you kid you’re full of s*** or just blind if you think England didn’t create anything outside of set plays. Run along now.
Because you can’t. You’ve thrown your toys out of the pram like an overgrown baby. Accept you’re wrong and move on.

Played ok I thought fancied Rashford at the death but it wasn't to be.

Would love Morocco to win it now.

England looked better but France also sat back defending that 1-0. As soon as it was 1-1 they started playing again and got the lead again.

You can’t say a player who can dribble score goals tackle is limited while the one who just passes well is..

Its a warped way of looking at football.

And France have had more international success than Spain btw, without a controller. Modric may be the best of the world but without the legs of Casemeiro Camavinga Valverde etc Madrid wouldn’t have won their last CL.
I can because despite his talent he can't control a game. There is n't a midfielder left in the World who can apart from Modric. If Spain still had prime Xavi and Iniesta then they would win basically every tournament, like they did when they had them. You say France are better than Spain but Spain no longer have a player to control the game either. Gavi and Pedri are as overrated as Bellingham. All 30m players and no more than that. For me, first and foremost I want a midfielder to take control of a game. Its why Roy Keane was the best PL midfielder ever. I like Bellingham but simply not for the money he is touted for. He simply doesn't do enough to be worth that. And as for Modric, those that you mention also don't win those games without him. He was by far the most important of all of them.

But how many time are you going to bottle your chances before your window closes?

You should have never let Croatia beat in 18 nor should have never let Italy beat you on home soil in the final. This time you were up against a France ravaged by injury with Morocco waiting for you in the semi finals and you blew it.
Oh of course but the quality is there and there’s more coming through.

It’s not the end of a golden generation so the future is bright and it will come together at some point.

Shaw and Walker had very good games, expected more from the midfield, Pickford with at least one clutch save. England were in desperate need of a goal and I didn’t see that reflected on the pitch. Go balls out for the equalizer, losing 3-1 is no worse than 2-1 and you had the French defense rattled. England played well but this was not their very best.

This is a bizarrely hostile response, I was just pointing out that France were second best and looked very vulnerable, but are still very likely in the final (unless Morocco do to them what they did to England).
I am Croatian and French. So I am a bit tired to hear that my teams are lucky.

Only worry has to be Kane, he's the only one who's time is running out with no clear replacement in sight

This should have been the final. Great game. Neither team was perfect, but both teams played very well, and cancelled each other. It could have gone either way. The French gifted England with two unnecessary penalties, but England couldn't do that extra bit to score a second goal. Good luck to France, I hope they win it all.

Never going to anything other than gutted to go out. But I can’t fault the performance, we’ve gone head to head with the world champions and probably been the better team for most of the game, France just had that clinical edge when they needed it. That penalty miss will be hard on Kane, there was a lot of pressure and I find it quite typical ‘England’ that it didn’t go in. Unfortunately I’ve seen this story from England too many times before, but it’s frustrating that the narrative never goes our way.

Hoping for a France v Argentina final, which I think will be a great spectacle.

Rice was really good. I'm aboard on his choo choo train.

And Saka played like a 100m winger. Amazing player.

If you think all Modric does well is passing then you misunderstand football.

It's his reading of the game, close control, supporting play, vision and creativity which make him generational.
I also think Bellingham will become elite but he's a sightly different player.

Feel gutted for England. Deserved more. Difference is really the managers
Why? Struggling to see what Deschamps would get credit for tonight that Southgate wouldn’t. England were the better team in every metric.

I think they sat back a bit after getting that early goal.
They sat back, but their counter wasn't effective today.

Upemacano got exposed a bit. Which is rectifiable, France should swap him out for Saliba or Konate.

I thought Theo Hernanez actually did ok despite the commentary. The issue was Upemacano.

Walker and Saka did a good job of limiting opportunities through their flank. I don't think Dembele did a good enough job in this game. Shaw was decent, but I think he should have exploited things more.

England did the best job of nullifying the French threat and actually held their own in the middle. Henderson's pressing was insane.

I think Rice and Henderson were great, but I don't think Bellingham was anything special. Think he's a bit overrated.

Feels it's a bit weird to fault Southgate for not making changes. Dechampes didn't make any changes either, and they were clearly the weaker side once it was 1-1. If Southgate made the changes you all wanted earlier and France proceeded to win you would all critizise him for making those very changes to break the momentum. The issue today wasn't that Dechampes is a better manager, it's that he's got better quality on the pitch. Simple as that.

Ref didn't give so many decisions Griezmann should have been booked much earlier, they stopped England playing the first half with so many fouls.

I think the Ref was shit, so many fouls not given.

France obviously are favourites but the Ref didn't help at all.

I want Argentina to win this WC.

ITV still talking about Morocco like they were an instant win for England, just adding "with the greatest of respect" doesn't mean you're actually giving any respect.

I don't fancy France against Morocco with the way their defenders played tonight let alone against Croatia or Argentina

Your national team did well and they were the best on the field, but France are cunning and efficient.

I know Giroud is 36 years old, but how underrated he is - perhaps one of the most underrated players in years. I wish we have a No. 9 like him in United.

Keane was never an elite controller on the level of Xavi Modric Pirlo etc, not even close. Why he was the best was because of his mentality, physicality and obviously as a box to box DM was good and neat on the ball, United didn’t control games In Europe even in Keanes pomp, if anything that’s an argument in the favour of their being more than one way to skin a cat or win a football game.
