Alright, no excuses not to reach the final, no disrespect to Forrest but their first choice keeper won’t even be able to play.
Is that the case in the league cup? I know it is in the PL

Unlucky for Henderson. Gets his team through to the semis then has to sit the next two out.

Ole must be wondering wtf he did to deserve the tough draws we had under him

Also hoping with these extra fixtures fatigue might start creeping in at St James’s.

Nice. I’m Nottingham already Tuesday/Wednesday that week. I’ve no chance of finding a ticket but I’ll be trying.

Anyone know if they announced if the game is on the Tuesday or Wednesday?

Least he'll get other chances.

Wycombe had Anthony Grant on loan from Chelsea the year we made it to the league cup semis against them in 06-07ish.
He had to miss what would have been his career highlights and never got near such things again.

So looks like the 1st leg will be Wednesday as we play Arsenal on the Sunday a few day before.

2nd leg still to be decided as the Reading FA Cup fixture date hasn’t even been confirmed yet on what day that is going to be.

So Newcastle vs United in the final eh.
I would give Southampton a remote chance in most games, but Newcastle really dominated earlier this season. Southampton can be so strong physically and they live a lot of that, but when they face a team even stronger than them they just had nothing.

Henderson is a big loss for Forrest. If they don’t come knocking on the door to make it permanent in the coming week willing to pay to make it happen. :)

80% sure the dates will be:

Weds 25th Jan v Forest away (Carabao)
Sat 28th Jan v Reading at home (FA Cup)
Tues 31st Jan v Forest home (Carabao)

Can only play on Weds/Thurs after a Sunday match for the first leg, then they like to make you play on the opposite day for the second leg.

Newbies 15/16 FPL Champion.
I don't get this. We don't need 2xNewcastle right after City/Arsenal fixtures and just before 2xBarcelona.
Yeah, puzzling logic on display. We literally got the best possible outcome tonight.

If I'm picky maybe a home v Forest 1st so we could try to finish them off in 1st leg but that is splitting hairs.
