You know we sold him right? The reason he wouldn't be an option is because if we were in the market for that type of player there are better options out there
Yes, I know we did. But players can mature and improve and become better. Playing under ETH, he will surely have better performances than whatever he has showed for us.

Well we don’t know that for a fact. Plus, there was an offer for him from Fulham, so not unreasonable to cash out. If he were still here, he would spend most of the time on the bench like VDB did anyway. Maybe he improved ar Fulham because he actually got to play.

Could be 60 minutes on the board and we wouldn’t score.

Not sure if you know but Fulham are currently 6th.
Which could be his level, big difference in pressure for Fulham overachieving in 6th compared to United which has expectations to compete for the title (even if that hasn't happened in a while, anything short of that standard should be not good enough).

When he was with us we were that level too

Having played two more games than the two teams below them.
But you can't deny that they are playing very well and deserve to be where they are and Andreas has been a key part in their team.

To be fair to him he always looked like he had the ability to be a premier league player but the pressure at United was too much.
Well yeah I thought he'd do well at a team lower down and am happy he seems to be enjoying his football but people are off their heads if they think we should have hung on to him.

We should be begging Tuchel to come back. Still beyond idiotic that we fired him.

Love to see big Chelsea accounts on twitter huffing their own farts searching for ways to defend Potter whilst decrying Tuchel. No, the process is not better than it was under Tuchel. No, our youths aren't magically better somehow and if anything our young players have regressed because Potter's training methods are lame and boring and dumb. No, Potter apologists can't claim "omg injuries" as if Tuchel didn't have an injury crisis last winter with COVID on top of it and still managed to not go 10 games without winning.

Remember when this place pretended we couldn’t give Perreira away? Man’s worth at least 25/30m now

I feel a bit for Potter... Crazy amount of injuries... The club got rid of the strikers before getting him too..

It's funny because he obviously, definitely needed to leave/play... and now that he has, it's pretty clear to see that he's miles better then VdB
He’s also two years older than VDB and looked just as shit for United as VDB.

Great clearance by cookie, that. Putting it into the stands is the only way to be sure.
