Straight loan is good for us, takes us to end of the season and we can look for a younger CM who can fit ETH's system.

I am all for these kind of signings.

Should have fought for an option to buy. Have a feeling he will be a good signing.

Having an option is always better.

A loan without obligation is good business. Not sure if he's good enough to be starting regularly for us long term, but he's a solid short term option and he's a good presser. Versatile too which is a bonus.

Whilst the content in these Tweets are reported by Aouna, they are misleading and why one shouldn't post any Tweets from an aggregator.

Tier 3:
  • Manchester United have made enquiries in recent hours about Houssem Aouar.
  • But it is finally Marcel Sabitzer who is well on his way to signing for MU.
Aouar was just an option that United are able to make room for, but United may likely no longer be pursuing him because of Sabitzer.

But wait…there’s more..

Don't expect us to go after Sofyan Amrabat now that we've sealed the Sabitzer loan. Fiorentina don't want loans, only permanent transfers, and United are only signing one midfielder to replace Eriksen, hence the lack of developments everywhere else now that Sabitzer's coming over.

For those of you wondering where this is coming from: https://www.skysports.com/transfer-centre

In the same bit, according to Sheth, United also discussed bringing in Tielemans but opted out given that Leicester were likely to demand a large fee.

Regardless, all of this is meaningless now that United are bringing Sabitzer in.
