Amrabat next?

Actually all sorts of names going round.. Daichi Kamada of Eintracht Frankfurt, Houssem Aouar...
Probably bollocks. Just an attention seeking tweet I think.

I'd give myself a prostate exam with hot sauce if we sign someone else tonight.

I remember he had an absolute horrorshow when we beat them 5-0. Here the highlights of the game. 3rd goal was him losing the ball with a heavy touch, 4th goal a penalty conceded by him (unfortunately for the 2nd goal them losing the ball isn't in the video but if i remember correctly, it was him). If this would be one out of McFred he would be ripped apart.

To be fair, when they beat us 3-2 he had a very good game and a good assist.

Other than this game: Like him as a player, has a good engine. For me not even close to as good as Eriksen, but for a replacement on the deadline day still a very good move.
Won't compare him to Eriksen as different players

No option to buy really kills the mood. If he will be success, Bayern will slap huge price on him. And i have a feeling (just an opinion) that player feels more "at home" and as a part of a team when he knows that he will maybe stay for longer term.

Yeah it was one of the worst sub performances I can remember, seemed to come on cold and Rashford run riot.

As you say though, was a thorn in our side in the away game and exploited AWB’s poor positioning over and over.

Guardian saying it’s done. So unused to things moving this quickly. Usually we have time to fall in love with the idea before the deal falls apart.

Manchester United have an agreement to take Marcel Sabitzer on loan from Bayern Munich after Christian Eriksen sustained an ankle injury that could rule him out until early May.

Sabitzer has agreed terms and is due to join until the end of the season with no buy option, subject to a medical. He has boarded a flight to Manchester.

Bayern will let him go in the summer if he doesn't want to go back and they can't offer him first team football.

I mean this morning we were all gutted about Eriksen (still am) and everything looked to be against us.

Now we’ve got a good player the boss wants in.

Yet the mood has been killed by a clause?

You lot want EVERYTHING!

No privately chartered flights flying out of Lyon to Manchester (yet). Sounds like shite.

I'm really not a fan of no option to buy with these loans... Feels like we're unnecessarily handcuffing ourselves.

Still any loan is better then no loan

On paper, sounds like a better fit for the Eriksen role than Eriksen.. Eriksen wasnt playing as a 10.
I know he was very highly rated.. hope he gets his form back.. could be a shrewd addition
Berry Berry Shrew.
This.

From all the reports, he is a proper box to box midfielder with a great engine. He will probably be better defensively than Eriksen and provide more of a physical presence.

Anything extra and it would be a bonus. If he can cross or pass even decently, then we might actually end up in the top four.

You wouldn’t have known he was a free transfer would you?

Eriksen has been fantastic for us and anyone complaining about what he’s brought simply doesn’t understand football.
Here we go. Oh dear. You don’t understand football unless you view Eriksen as a cornerstone of our midfield for years to come?

All people are arguing here is that he’s better than what we had before, but that he’s probably not at the level of someone who should be starting week in and week out for PL and CL contenders. Is that really controversial? Does that mean you “don’t understand football”?

The scenes when Eriksen returns from his injury in March. Masterstroke from ETH to get the board's backing
The lights go out in the stadium, fireworks go off on the sidelines and music hits as Eriksen comes out to the pitch on the back off a hearse.

"BAH GAWD KING, ERIKSEN'S BACK!!"

I know right, he is doomed to fail. Well we have Scott Mtominay who is not allowed to leave, so he will feel wanted and play his arse off for us… so it‘s not so bad.

Not bothered about the no buy option. We could easily sign him in the summer if we want to.

Don't really see many scenarios where we hit him, would only be in the event that we sign no other midfielder and Fred leaves. As is though, we have Fred and Eriksen as 2 who can play there next season like this season even if we sign nobody else. Presumably we'll get a better backup for Casemiro but Sabitzer isn't that anyway. Just a straight replacement for Eriksen while Eriksen is out basically.

I reckon that might not be likely unless he comes at a cut price.

We're likely targeting younger midfielders like Bellingham and the like.

Have to hand it to the club on finding a loan deal this late in the window.
