He will surprise people, in few months he will fan favorite. Case will love him.
And I know from close sources Bayern only let him for us. Arrogant fans but class club.

He will prove useful because can play alongside Casa, also feel he has that ability to cover for him or Bruno if required

I thought he looked familiar but couldnt put my finger on it. Today I realized he reminds me of Cavani.

Really? Tell me more!
Chelsea and Arsenal were asking about him, but Bayern wouldnt entertain idea. They only did let him beacuse ETH conections and he is supposed big UTD fan. (Source, Hasan Salihamidzic).
He is good player, Case will love him. IMHO he is on Goretzka level, fan favorite in few games.

Actually that is not the best picture of her.

If you want to google: Katja Kühne
She is older (and taller!) than him, 37, is born in the Ukraine ( her family is still there) and came to Germany with 22. Her name shows that her parents must be of German origin.
She won the Bachelor in 2014.

They aren't married but together for some years now and have a small daughter.

Probably because if he does well we'll be looking to sign him for a price they are interested in. They probably think if he does well they can squeeze at least 30-40 million off of us this summer versus if he went to a worse run team. Whether we realize it or not Ten Hag has this team humming as good as the best teams in Europe bar a few handful of teams.

I think we'll see Bruno drop deeper a bit more in possession and Sabitzer try to get into scoring areas more than Eriksen does.

Without the ball, we should be better with him in there than Eriksen.

Interesting to see if Ten Hag gives Fred-Sabitzer a shot as a double pivot when Casemiro is out, or it's still McTominay at DM. My guess is he'll give the former a chance at some point.

I don't know what you are all on about. Its not totally bat sht crazy what he said. Its just an opinion. You can argue semantics all you want but it can easily be labelled as a panic buy. If we planned correctly and thought about the consequences of one of our players getting injured and made the purchases early in the window then thats not a panic buy. If you do it on the last day after your player is out for 3 months then yes its not in the realms of impossibility for it not be deemed a panic buy. Also he said he was a fourth choice Bayern midfielder that couldn't get in the side. Well that's true. Isn't it? We are all just basing our excitement on his Leipzig form. Bayern fans are not rioting.

Now as an aside its still a really good signing. Its ok to panic buy when needed. Its not a dirty word. The one thing Merson hasn't got is our belief in Ten Haag. If Rangnick just bought Wout and Sabitzer the fans would be pissed. Ten Haag however and we believe that he will get the best out of them. And if he gets the best out of Sabitzer he will be a great addition.
none of which makes merson less of an @rsewipe!

Big shoes to fill. Eriksen has been a successful signing..

Hopefully Sabitzer hits the ground running

I like this signing. No real pressure signing, on an initial loan. If he does well we can sign him in the summer. If he doesn’t do so well, he goes back to Bayern and we look elsewhere. Good for all parties. Smart and astute. I like this no panic thing we’re doing these days.

We'll see how classy they are in the summer if we are looking to sign him permanently.

They only paid 16 for him in August 2021, if he does well for us and we are looking to sign him permanently, we shouldn't really be paying anymore than 20m.

Yeah I like Bayern.

A few years ago for my mates stag do to Munich we emailed Bayern about possibly getting to a game. They were away from home so didn't work out but they were great in dealing with us. Off on a tangent but Munich was a fantastic city too.

At least he is coming from a cold country, I always laugh when I think about how players arriving from the Mediterranean or South America must react stepping on to a pitch in Manchester in January

This is derailing the thread but maybe think through your point a little bit more.
I did, and my point is that things change with context. If we are looking at absolute average, then it's even more obvious that English is not the universal language everybody needs to speak.

What role is he most likely to take and what will he bring to the team? Not see him play properly just watched clips on YouTube of him.

Casemiro was slowly introduced... will it be the same with Sabitzer?

Firstly I’d like to congratulate the back room staff for getting his signature over the line at such short notice. I’m confident that Marcel will be able to make an immediate impact and receive the respect and recognition he rightly deserves.

So whens the earliest we'll see him play then you reckon? We'll need him up and running for the Barca game on the 16th, so I'm guessing he might get a run out from the bench on Saturday, potentially starting the Leeds game next week? Not sure we can afford the luxury of slowly easing him in considering our upcoming fixture list and injuries in midfield.

Fred has been borderline sensational for us of late so we may not see Sabitzer start very soon. That said, if he really is at “Goretzka level” the man will figure prominently in ETH’s plans soon. Very soon.

It is quite literally the global second language and the most widely spoken language by like 300 million. Put that in the context of people who can speak it in a basic conversational manner or who interact with it via tv, music tourists etc. Then yes English is the universal language. Mandarin is pretty much localised to a single region.

Anyway glad we’ve signed Sabitzer I think he has the physicality to perform well in the league.

Subbed on in the next two games then start the third would be my guess.
