Albeit Wenger had more success with Arsenal and for a longer period of time too.
Interesting debate when you look at the trophies.
Obviously Wenger had "more success" as he was there three times the length Klopp has been at Liverpool!

Forgetting charity shields and one off games like Super Cup/World club nonsense, the straight comparison is:

Wenger - 22 years
3 league titles
7 FA cups

Klopp - 8 years at the end of this season,
1 League title
1 European Cup
1 FA Cup
1 League Cup

Wenger lost a couple of cup finals, but Klopp has lost 4
Not to mention two league losses by about as narrow a deficit as you can get.

Will Klopp last a few more years? Will he win anything more?
Hopefully no on both :D

Say what you like about Klopp but you can never take that 2-2 draw against West Brom away from him.

Klopp was just unfortunate to be competing against Pep and still the PL chase went to the wire.

In fairness , he was just as successful as any great manager. 3 CL finals , 3 close PL chases where he almost won. I know you are only as good as what you have won but I consider him as a great manager who was just unfortunate at times.

Be just like Liverpool to win the Champions league, grab top 4 and end up having a more successful season than anyone.

The funny thing is their only PL was during Covid.
I really don't get why this is brought up, by the time stadiums were shutting down, they had basically won the league anyway, it made no difference at all, would have walked it anyway.

Nothing beats the once in a lifetime opportunity to lift PL trophy in a empty stadium. Wont be repeated ever

None of their fans got to witness their players lift the Premier League inside Anfield. No trophy parade after lockdown restrictions were lifted either. As far as I'm concerned, there's no evidence of Liverpool winning the Premier League as there were no witnesses :D

But they walked the league easily even before the restrictions, there was no contest, so of course they won it.

Mathematically, Man City still could've finished 1st when the Premier League resumed in June 2020. Liverpool weren't officially champions until after a few weeks of behind-closed-doors games.

Trust me: the fact that none of their fans got to witness their players lift the club's only league title in 32 years, really irks their supporters.

Why would it?

Struggling to think of many times that has happened even over this "dominating best team ever" period that they enjoyed??

He's done. Liverpool will cling onto him a little while longer, but he's done.

 at the very least why would Bellingham want to join these lot in the summer?
Players goes for the money, if they offer him a better contract than us, he will go there, simple as that.
If the offers are roughly equal, then these things might matter though.

Why are so many promising players joining Chelsea right now? They are in complete disarray, have incompetent executive management, an unproven football manager and will not play Champions League next season.

Players join for the money, the name of club and the expectation that things will improve very quickly.

It's funny because their fans didn't get to celebrate it as they would have wanted and, agree or disagree, some will always be able to point to covid as a caveat.

Like it or not, living in London is a massive draw.

RAWK should be a chuckle later if this result holds. Wonder if/when they’ll turn on Klopp
