This has been mentioned a few times in this thread, if we started winning trophies again we will be able to sign players without any external investment. But we do need investment to improve the facilities.
Our financial records and concerns with FFP actually suggests maybe we do, at least for next season. Glazers really messed up our financials, hence why we were broke in Jan and why they're finally looking to sell. Do you check who owns your hotel , aircraft you fly on, gas in your hob, mobile phone supplier, the car you drive.
