His style and profile, in my opinion, fits well for Ten Hag. Put KdB in a Simeone team and he would look average.
Look at Rashford under Ten Hag compared to last season.
Griezmann was a second striker. Did wonderful under Simeone.

This is such a funny system. Imagine not being convinced about a player doing well in Ten Hag system, then saying another player would fit well in his system.

Rashford last season was a bas season, go have a look at seasons before that and the numbers.

Every player looked shit last season.

Griezman was one of the best players in the world under the Simeone system. I love how people love speculating without any evidence.

Bloke saw an opportunity to get the feck out and took it, respect
I bet he's texting his mates right now 'who the hell is Mount and Potter, I thought I was coming to London to play with Saka and my friend Partey".

Come now, rough season for you lot, but not so rough that targets would prefer Arsenal to you

Great player but perhaps not quite what we need. Would love him at United but we have higher priorities at the moment. I think we could have made him work on loan but clearly we weren't willing to pay what AM were after. Probably the same for Arsenal.
Yeah IF we already had that top class CM and striker then yeah would love him to sprinkle a bit of magic dust but we don't yet. Shame we couldn't find the money to see what Erik could have done with him for a few months

Looks excellent to start with but far too early to get carried away. We've seen it with James Rodriguez and Coutinho, where they start on fire and then fizzle out later.

We all know Felix is potentially world class on his day but will that happen consistently between now and the end of the season.

Been begging us to sign him for ages. Who knows what could have been if we loaned him instead of the useless Weghorst. Pure class, and he will get 20 goals soon enough if he joins a top team here. If people want the Harry Kane profile, then I’d much rather get him.

Yeah sticks in the throat we didn't try harder
It's the only player that we have been linked with recently and that I genuinely wanted. I don't really know any alternatives to him and I don't really like the idea of adding a pure goalscorer when we have Rashford as our best attacker.

Fecking Glazers. Hopefully we get proper owners soon and won't have to worry about losing such talents, just because we could not cough up 7 - 8M. Looks pure class unfortunately, whereas we have that lump upfront who runs like a giraffe.

is there an option/obligation to buy in his Chelsea contract? if not we should go all out on him, fits what we need like a glove and still very young.

If you look on the bright side, at least there's no option or obligation to buy in his contract. United could be in a position to sign him on a permanent basis, come summertime!

I think it’s due to not assessing players by the same few headline metrics.

Who knows, he’s only on loan. I don’t see why he couldn’t be on our list for the summer alongside those already mentioned. I’d love him here.

Purr laziness and stubbornness from those leeches meant we couldn't find a way

Not really anything concrete. But the usual journos have said there is some kind of understanding between the two clubs that we can sign him permanently if it goes well. The problem is he won’t be cheap.

Yeah sod morals anymore I just want some new players and sort out infrastructure, stadium and training facilities. Know that probably makes me a bad person for wanting Qatari money

At least most of us saw this coming. Him being suspended helped me forget for a while, but I braced myself a while ago for the constant feelings of irritation/jealousy that are to come.

Positive is that it’s a loan without option to buy, but if he does well I don’t see why Chelsea don’t pursue him and, if Boehly’s still burning cash for fun, also don’t see how we beat them to him unless Felix has some preference for United/Manchester.

Class player and did very well in the World Cup. Would've loved to have him here.

One one hand it's a lot for 6 months but after getting rid of Ronaldo I thought we'd at least bite the bullet and get a top player in for ETH.

How exactly does he fit like a glove? We need a target man. This guy has never scored more than 10 goals in a season. We can’t just keep relying on rashford for the goals. Fits like a glove? Does he feck.

I do remember a lot not rating Felix though. Even more after he went to Chelsea. Not a goalscorer, no real position on the pitch and no great stats so quite a few put their noses up at the idea of singing Felix. If he does well there is hardly any chance he would sign for Manchester United if he had to choose between Chelsea and United after the season.

Still don't think he's what we would need. He's a LW or a 10. If he could play as a false 9, sure, but he is best playing off someone. Bruno and Rashford is what we have for those 2, or Sancho who has some similarities to Felix. He is class when used properly though

I am in the same boat as you are. We have spent a lot but that was because post Fergie no value in the market we had a poor squad and needed a lot of investment, and with Woodie at the helm we have also spent poorly.

But now we have good team frankly after a while, just need to top of with a CM to play alongside Casemiro, ST and cheap rotation option for Cas. We will require some investment for this, with Qatari owners I am sure we will be going for the best available players, instead of shopping in the loan and knock off market like we have in the January.
